Scrape Airbnb Place Reviews with Airset Generator

3 mins read - Created on Nov 04, 2025

Airbnb reviews provide authentic traveler feedback on hosts, accommodations, and overall experiences. With Kimola’s Airset Generator, you can automatically collect these reviews and send them directly to your Kimola Dashboard for analysis.

An Airset is a dataset created using the Airset Generator — it stores the raw data you’ve collected from supported platforms like Airbnb, Amazon, or Tripadvisor. All Airsets are automatically saved under the Datasets → Airsets section in your dashboard.

This article explains how to scrape Airbnb reviews step by step using the Airset Generator.

Getting Ready

Make sure that the Airset Generator extension is installed and set up on your Chrome browser, and that you’re signed in to your Kimola account with your API Key connected. If you haven’t completed this setup yet, see the Set up the Airset Browser Extension guide before continuing.

Step 1: Open the Airbnb Listing

Go to airbnb.com and use the search bar at the top to find the listing whose reviews you want to collect. Click the listing title to open its property page — make sure you are viewing the full listing (not the preview card) so that the Reviews section becomes available.

Step 2: Access the Reviews Section

Once on the listing page, scroll down until you see the navigation bar that sticks to the top of the screen as you scroll. Click the Reviews tab on this bar to open the section showing guest feedback. If there are multiple reviews, click Show all reviews to expand the list before you start scraping — this ensures the Airset Generator can access every visible review.

Step 3: Start the Airset Generator

When the reviews are visible on the page, click the Airset Generator icon in your browser’s toolbar (next to the address bar). A small window will appear — this is your extension control panel. Click Generate to start collecting the reviews currently visible on the screen. The extension will automatically detect and extract each review’s details such as content, and date.

As the scraping begins, you’ll see a small number badge appear on the extension icon. This shows how many reviews have been collected so far.

Tip

Pin the Airset Generator next to your browser’s address bar for easier access. While collecting, the extension icon shows a badge that indicates how many reviews have been scraped.

Step 4: Continue and Complete the Collection

The Airset Generator automatically scrolls and loads additional reviews from the next pages. You can watch the progress inside the extension window — the counter increases as new data is gathered.

When you’ve collected enough reviews (up to 1,000 per session), click Continue to finalize your dataset. This action stops the collection, saves your data, and creates a new Airset directly in your Kimola Dashboard.

Step 5: Access Your Airset

Once the scraping is complete, your new dataset (Airset) will automatically appear under Latest Airsets in the Airset Generator window. Click its name to open and review the collected reviews — make sure you’re signed in to your Kimola Dashboard.

You can also access all your collected Airsets anytime from your Kimola Dashboard. To manage your dataset — such as downloading or deleting it — see Manage Airsets. When you’re ready to analyze your data and generate insights, continue with Create a Report with an Airset.
