Uploaded or Scraped Data

Kimola allows users to:

  • Upload custom datasets in CSV, Excel, or TSV formats
  • Scrape publicly available content such as online reviews, comments, or discussions for research purposes only

Users are responsible for ensuring that scraped content complies with the source platform's terms and copyright policies.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data to:

  • Operate and maintain the Service
  • Deliver analysis features and research insights

We do not use your uploaded content or feedback data to train Kimola's AI models.

3. Data Hosting & Security

  • All data is hosted on Microsoft Azure servers located in the USA and UK.
  • All the technical components like application and database servers are only available via a secure VPN. None of the servers, except the public-facing web servers hosting *.kimola.com and the VPN gateway itself, are accessible from the public internet.
  • All access to data is logged and strictly limited to authorized personnel.

5. Third-Party Tools

We use Sendgrid to send transactional and product-related emails. Your email address is not shared with any third-party CRM or marketing platform.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

  • Analysis created on the platform is retained unless the user deletes it.
  • When downgrading from paid to free, all the data you created during your subscription period is kept for 30 days in case of re-upgrade.
  • After 30 days, this data is permanently deleted.

Data Deletion Requests

Users can request permanent deletion of their data by contacting us via our Support Center. We will confirm and act on all verified requests.

7. User Rights

If you're located in the EU, UK, or California, you have rights under GDPR and CCPA, including:

  • Right to access the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to correct inaccurate data
  • Right to request deletion of your data
  • Right to object to certain types of data processing
