How to Scrape G2 Reviews with Airset Generator?

1. Install Airset Generator

Ensure the Airset Generator browser extension is installed from the Chrome Web Store. If you need setup instructions, see our installation article for assistance.

2. Access to G2

  • Navigate to the G2 website in your browser.

3. Search for Your Target

  • Type the name of the company or software you wish to gather reviews for into the search field. From the search results, choose the appropriate company or software to access its detailed review page.

 4. Open the Review Section

  • Look for the star rating at the top of the page with the review count beside it. Click this number, or use the “Reviews” tab below it, to view all available reviews.

5. Start Scraping Data

  • Click the Airset Generator extension icon and select the “Generate” button from the pop-up window. This allows you to keep track of the number of reviews being scraped automatically. Additional pages will continue to be scraped until manually stopped.

6. Finalize Data Collection

  • Once you've reached your desired number of reviews, click the “Continue” button to end the scraping process and create your Airset with the collected data.

Tip: For easy access, pin the Airset Generator next to your address bar. The extension icon shows a badge indicating how much data has been scraped, helping you monitor your progress.

Note: The generator can scrape up to 1000 reviews at a time.

7. Access the Airset

  • The Airset window will display the airsets, with the latest at the top. Click on the relevant airset to view your dataset. Ensure you are logged into your Kimola account.
  • If you prefer, access your dataset by clicking the "Airsets" tab under the Datasets menu on the left panel of the Kimola dashboard, where your newest airset is listed first.
