Scrape Capterra User Reviews with Airset Generator
3 mins read - Created on Nov 05, 2025Capterra is a trusted software review platform where users share detailed feedback about digital tools, SaaS products, and business software.
Collecting reviews from Capterra allows you to analyze product satisfaction, usability issues, and user sentiment across industries.
With Kimola’s Airset Generator — a Chrome browser extension — you can automatically collect these reviews and send them directly to your Kimola Dashboard for analysis. Each collection you create becomes an Airset, a raw dataset that stores unprocessed review data, such as review text and date. All Airsets are automatically saved in your dashboard, ready to be reviewed, managed, or used in reporting.
This article explains how to scrape Capterra reviews step by step using the Airset Generator, so you can transform real user feedback into actionable insights in Kimola.
Make sure the Airset Generator Chrome extension is installed and set up on your browser, and that you’re signed in to your Kimola Dashboard with your API Key connected. If you haven’t completed setup yet, follow the steps in the Set up the Airset Browser Extension article.
Step 1: Open the Product Page
Go to capterra.com and search for the software product whose reviews you want to collect. From the search results, open the product’s page to view its details.
Step 2: Access the Reviews Section
Scroll down to the Reviews section on the product page. Capterra displays reviews with numbered pages (for example, “1 of 25,” “2 of 25,” etc.), which allows you to navigate through multiple pages of user feedback. The Airset Generator will automatically move through these pages as it collects data.
Step 3: Start the Airset Generator
Click the Airset Generator icon in your browser toolbar and select Generate in the pop-up window to begin collecting reviews. The tool will read and save all visible reviews into a new Airset, including the review text, rating, and date for each entry.
Pin the Airset Generator next to your browser’s address bar for faster access. The extension icon displays a badge showing how many reviews have been collected.
Step 4: Complete the Collection
The Airset Generator automatically continues scraping reviews across Capterra’s numbered pages. Once you’ve reached the desired amount of data or the scraping process completes, click Continue in the extension window to finalize your Airset. The collected reviews are then saved directly to your Kimola Dashboard.
The Airset Generator can collect up to 1,000 Capterra reviews per session. Plan your data collection accordingly.
Step 5: Access Your Airset
After completion, your new dataset (Airset) will appear under Latest Airsets in the extension window. Click its name to open and review the collected data — make sure you’re signed in to your Kimola Dashboard.
You can view all your Airsets anytime under Datasets → Airsets in your dashboard. To manage them — including renaming, downloading, or deleting — see the Manage Airsets article. When you’re ready to analyze your collected data and generate insights, continue with Create a Report with an Airset.
By following these steps, you can easily collect verified software reviews from Capterra and prepare your dataset for deeper analysis in Kimola.
