Scrape Google Business Reviews with Airset Generator

3 mins read - Created on Dec 08, 2025

Google Business Profiles include valuable customer feedback about local businesses such as restaurants, stores, clinics, and service providers. With Kimola’s Airset Generator — a Chrome browser extension — you can automatically collect these public reviews and send them to your Kimola Dashboard for analysis.

When you scrape reviews using the extension, the collected data becomes an Airset. An Airset is a raw dataset generated by the Airset Generator that includes each review's text. All Airsets are stored in your dashboard under Datasets → Airsets, where you can later review, manage, or turn them into reports.

This article explains how to scrape Google Business reviews step by step:

Getting Ready

Before you begin, ensure that:

If you haven’t completed this setup yet, follow the guide: Set up the Airset Browser Extension

Step 1: Open the Google Business Listing

Go to google.com/maps and search for the business whose reviews you want to collect. Open its business profile and scroll to the Reviews section. Click "See all reviews" to open the full review window.

Step 2: Load Visible Reviews

Google Business reviews load dynamically. Scroll down continuously until you reach the number of reviews you want to scrape. The Airset Generator can only collect visible reviews, so expanding/scrolling is required before starting the scraping process.

Step 3: Start the Airset Generator

When all desired reviews are visible on the screen:

  • Click the Airset Generator icon in your Chrome toolbar.
  • In the pop-up window, click Generate.

The extension will immediately begin reading all loaded reviews and preparing your dataset (Airset).

Tip

For quicker access during scraping, keep the Airset Generator visible in your browser toolbar. The extension icon updates with a small counter as reviews are captured, making it easy to follow the collection progress.

Step 4: Complete the Collection

Once the extension finishes scanning the reviews:

  • Click Continue in the pop-up window to finalize the scraping.
  • Your dataset (Airset) will be created and automatically sent to your Kimola Dashboard.
Note

The Airset Generator can collect up to 1,000 Google Business reviews per session. If you need more, you can perform additional scraping rounds.

Step 5: Access Your Airset

After scraping is complete, your newly created Airset appears under Latest Airsets in the extension window. Click its name to open and review the collected Google Business reviews in your dashboard.

To continue working with your dataset:

By following these steps, you can quickly collect Google Business reviews and prepare them for deeper analysis in your Kimola Dashboard.
