Scrape Tripadvisor Reviews with Airset Generator

3 mins read - Created on Nov 03, 2025

Tripadvisor is one of the world’s largest travel platforms, where millions of travelers share experiences about hotels, restaurants, and attractions.
These reviews hold valuable insights into service quality, guest satisfaction, and overall travel experiences.

With Kimola’s Airset Generator — a Chrome browser extension — you can automatically collect Tripadvisor reviews and transfer them to your Kimola Dashboard for analysis. Each collection you create becomes an Airset, a dataset stored under the Airsets section of your dashboard.

This guide explains how to scrape Tripadvisor reviews step by step and prepare your dataset for deeper analysis in Kimola.

Getting Ready

Before you begin, make sure that:

The Airset Generator is installed and set up on your browser. You are logged into your Kimola account and have connected your API Key. If you haven’t completed setup yet, follow the Set up the Airset Browser Extension guide.

Step 1: Open the Tripadvisor Page

Go to Tripadvisor and navigate to the page of the hotel, restaurant, or attraction whose reviews you want to collect. Scroll down to the Reviews section to make sure that reviews are visible on the page.

Step 2: Start the Airset Generator

Click the Airset Generator icon in your browser’s toolbar and select Generate in the pop-up window. The extension will start scanning visible reviews and collecting them into your new Airset.

Tip

Pin the Airset Generator next to your browser’s address bar for quick access.
During collection, the icon displays a small badge showing how many reviews have been scraped so far.

Step 3: Automatic Continuation

The Airset Generator will automatically continue collecting reviews from subsequent pages until it reaches the end of available content or the session limit. You can track the progress directly within the extension window.

Step 4: Complete the Data Collection

When you’ve gathered enough reviews, click Continuing in the extension to finish the process. Your dataset will be finalized and saved to your Kimola Dashboard as a new Airset.

-!:note
The Airset Generator can collect up to 1,000 Tripadvisor reviews per session.
If you need a larger dataset, repeat the process for additional pages.

Step 5: Access Your Airset

Once scraping is complete, your new Airset appears under Latest Airsets in the extension window. Click the Airset name to open and review your dataset — ensure that you’re logged into your Kimola account.

Alternatively, see List Airsets to view all your collected Airsets in the Kimola Dashboard. For organizing or analyzing them, visit Manage Airsets or Create a Report with an Airset.

By following these steps, you can efficiently collect real traveler feedback from Tripadvisor and transform it into actionable insights using Kimola.
