Scrape Trustpilot Reviews with Airset Generator
3 mins read - Created on Dec 08, 2025Trustpilot is one of the most widely used platforms for customer reviews across e-commerce, technology, retail, travel, and service industries. These reviews reflect real user experiences and are valuable for understanding customer satisfaction, pain points, and brand perception. With Kimola’s Airset Generator — a Chrome browser extension — you can automatically collect Trustpilot reviews and send them directly to your Kimola Dashboard for analysis.
Each dataset you collect with the Airset Generator becomes an Airset, which is Kimola’s standardized format for storing raw data scraped from supported platforms. An Airset is essentially a snapshot of the original reviews or comments exactly as they appear online, saved before any analysis, labeling, or processing happens. It serves as the raw source material for your future analysis.
All Airsets are saved under Datasets → Airsets in your dashboard, where they can later be reviewed, managed, or turned into reports.
This article explains how to scrape Trustpilot reviews step by step:
Before you begin, ensure that:
- The Airset Generator Chrome extension is installed and set up on your browser.
- You are signed in to your Kimola Dashboard and your API Key is connected to the extension.
If setup is not complete, follow this guide: Set up the Airset Browser Extension
Step 1: Open the Trustpilot Page
Go to trustpilot.com and search for the business, brand, or service you want to collect reviews from. Open its main review page to view the full list of customer feedback.
Step 2: Load the Review Section
Scroll down to the reviews section. If Trustpilot displays filters (e.g., Most relevant, Newest, Rating), select the view you want. Make sure reviews are fully visible on the page before scraping.
Step 3: Start the Airset Generator
Click the Airset Generator icon in your Chrome toolbar. In the pop-up window, select Generate. The extension will begin scanning the visible reviews and collecting them into a new Airset.
For quick access, consider pinning the Airset Generator extension to your browser’s toolbar. During scraping, the extension icon will display a small counter that indicates the number of reviews collected in real time.
Step 4: Complete the Collection
The Airset Generator automatically continues through paginated reviews. When you have collected enough data, click Continue in the extension window to finalize the process. Your new dataset (Airset) will be created and sent to your Kimola Dashboard.
The Airset Generator is able to capture up to 1,000 Trustpilot reviews in a single scraping session, so make sure to plan your collection accordingly.
Step 5: Access Your Airset
Once the scraping is complete, your new Airset will appear under Latest Airsets in the extension window; click its name to review the collected reviews in your Kimola Dashboard. For viewing all your datasets, refer to List Airsets; for actions such as downloading or deleting, see Manage Airsets; and when you're ready to analyze your data with AI models or interpretations, continue with Create a Report with an Airset.
By following these steps, you can efficiently collect Trustpilot customer reviews and prepare them for AI-powered analysis within Kimola.
