Google Wallet, now known as Google Pay, has received mixed reviews regarding its usability and security. Users have experienced issues such as the app constantly updating, lack of security measures, and difficulty adding new cards. Some have also reported having trouble with contactless payments and loyalty cards. However, the app has also received positive feedback for its convenience and ease of use when it works properly.

After downloading the app., I was informed, by the application, that my new phone (Android) wasn't compatible. The reveal was useful however because now I know that I was mislead and payed for a phone that's basically a Dinosaur. The one star I gave is because the app. should be versatile for all Android phones. Especially those capable of updating.
Great idea but poor implementation. Cannot add cards that are not found (you don't know everything, Google), lack of ability to customize cards, like adding own image (again - Google does not find logos for smaller companies) or at least color label to be able to spot the right card faster. As a result everything ends up being mess of white items.
Used to work well until the last update. Now it keeps saying that the app is updating, but that I can still pay with my phone (although I can't choose which card, it automatically selects just the one). I can't use my club cards either then, meaning loss of money. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and the same thing is happening.
Was working perfect no issues but I updated my phone yesterday and now can't use to make any payments at all the app just says my phone is not secure and does not meet security requirements. I have checked everything but still unable to use, very annoying when u don't have cards on you at checkout as never expected it to just stop working. UK customer
stops working at times. Unreliable. I believe it has started happening after an update. Edit: in response to Google LLC, if you really want to differentiate then it would be the pay component. I assumed they both work together so not sure where the issue is. This is in Australia.
The Wallet app disappeared off my phone. I went to play store and it said it was installed but disabled. When I try to open it, it says it is updating and can't be used. I uninstalled and reinstalled and I am getting the same error message. I emailed the email address listed under "Developer contact" and got a reply that it is no longer in use. Cool.
