Scrape Better Business Bureau Reviews with Airset Generator

3 mins read - Created on Dec 09, 2025

BBB.org (Better Business Bureau) is a widely used platform where consumers share experiences about companies, services, and customer relations. These reviews can be highly valuable for understanding complaint patterns, service quality, and overall consumer sentiment.

With Kimola’s Airset Generator — a Chrome browser extension — you can automatically collect BBB.org reviews and send them directly to your Kimola Dashboard for further analysis.

An Airset is the dataset created by the extension. It contains raw review text and metadata extracted from supported platforms like BBB.org. All Airsets you create are saved in your Kimola Dashboard, where they can later be reviewed, managed, or used to generate reports.

This article explains how to scrape BBB.org reviews step by step:

Getting Ready

Before getting started, make sure that the Airset Generator Chrome extension is fully installed and configured on your browser, and that you are signed in to your Kimola Dashboard with your API Key connected. If you haven't completed this setup yet, you can follow the instructions here: Set up the Airset Browser Extension

Step 1: Open the Business Page on BBB.org

Go to bbb.org and search for the business whose reviews you want to collect.
Open the business profile page to access its review section.

Step 2: Load the Customer Reviews Section

Scroll down to the Customer Reviews section of the BBB.org business profile. BBB.org already provides built-in pagination at the bottom of the reviews list (e.g., 1, 2, 3… Next). You do not need to manually click through every page — simply ensure the initial reviews section is visible. Once scraping begins, the Airset Generator will automatically navigate through the paginated review pages and continue collecting reviews until the process is complete or paused.

Step 3: Start the Airset Generator

Click the Airset Generator icon in your Chrome toolbar. In the extension window, select Generate to begin scraping. The tool will immediately start reading and collecting the visible reviews on the page.

Tip

You may find it helpful to pin the Airset Generator to your browser toolbar. As the tool collects data, the extension icon will show a live counter, allowing you to monitor the number of scraped reviews at a glance.

Step 4: Complete the Collection

When the extension finishes gathering reviews (or when you choose to stop), click Continue in the pop-up window. This finalizes the process and creates your dataset (Airset), which is automatically sent to your Kimola Dashboard.

Note

The Airset Generator can process up to 1,000 BBB.org reviews per session. If the business profile contains more reviews, consider running multiple sessions.

Step 5: Access Your Airset

After the scraping process is complete, your new Airset will appear under Latest Airsets in the extension window. Click its name to open and review the collected BBB.org reviews in your Kimola Dashboard.

If you want to take further actions on your dataset — such as downloading or deleting — see Manage Airsets. To browse all datasets you’ve previously created, visit List Airsets. When you're ready to analyze the reviews using AI models and interpretations, continue with Create a Report with an Airset.

By completing these steps, you can efficiently collect BBB.org customer reviews and prepare them for analysis within Kimola.
