Scrape Etsy Reviews with Airset Generator
3 mins read - Created on Nov 03, 2025Etsy is one of the leading platforms for discovering handcrafted and creative products. Customer reviews on Etsy reveal valuable insights about product quality, craftsmanship, and buyer satisfaction.
With Kimola’s Airset Generator — a Chrome browser extension — you can automatically collect these reviews and send them to your Kimola Dashboard for analysis. Each collection becomes an Airset, a dataset stored under the Airsets section of your dashboard.
This guide explains how to scrape Etsy product reviews step by step and prepare your data for analysis in Kimola.
Before you begin, make sure that:
The Airset Generator is installed and set up on your browser. You are logged into your Kimola account and have connected your API Key. If you haven’t completed setup yet, follow the Set up the Airset Browser Extension guide.
Step 1: Open the Product Page
Go to Etsy and navigate to the product whose reviews you want to collect. Scroll down to the Reviews section on the product page. Here, you’ll find two tabs — This Item and This Shop. Select the tab that best fits your analysis goal (for example, “This Item” for product-specific feedback).
Step 2: Start the Airset Generator
Click the Airset Generator icon in your browser toolbar and select Generate in the pop-up window. The extension will automatically start collecting visible reviews and compile them into a new Airset.
Pin the Airset Generator next to your browser’s address bar for easier access.
While collecting data, the icon displays a small badge showing how many reviews have been scraped so far.
Step 3: Automatic Continuation
The Airset Generator automatically continues collecting reviews from subsequent pages until it reaches the limit or the end of available reviews.
You can monitor progress directly from the extension window.
Step 4: Complete the Data Collection
When you’ve gathered enough reviews, click Continuing in the extension to stop the process. Your dataset will be finalized and saved to your Kimola Dashboard as a new Airset.
The Airset Generator can collect up to 1,000 Etsy reviews per session. Plan your scraping activity accordingly.
Step 5: Access Your Airset
Once scraping is complete, your new Airset appears under Latest Airsets in the extension window. Click the Airset name to open your dataset — make sure you’re logged into your Kimola account.
Alternatively, see List Airsets to view all your Airsets in the Kimola Dashboard.
For organizing or using them in analysis, visit Manage Airsets or Create a Report with an Airset.
By following these steps, you can efficiently collect authentic customer feedback from Etsy and use it to enhance your understanding of buyer sentiment and product performance.
