Kimola On-Premises

min read - Updated on Oct 22, 2026

Kimola On-Premises is the version of Kimola that runs inside your organization's own infrastructure, under a license. Customer feedback, analysis results and the AI models that produce them all stay within your environment, and no data is sent to external AI services. It is meant for organizations whose data protection or regulatory requirements don't allow customer data to leave the organization. Most of Kimola works the same way in both versions, and a few features that depend on outside services are not part of Kimola On-Premises.

When Kimola On-Premises Fits

Most teams use Kimola in the cloud at app.kimola.com, with nothing to install. Kimola On-Premises fits when that isn't an option: when customer feedback contains personal or confidential information that your policies require you to keep in-house, or when regulations limit where customer data can be stored and processed. Banks, insurers, public institutions and other regulated organizations are typical examples. With Kimola On-Premises, these organizations can analyze their customer feedback without moving it outside their own environment.

How It Works

Kimola is installed in your organization's infrastructure. The AI models that classify feedback and write the analyses run in the same environment, so analyzing feedback doesn't require sending it to an outside AI service. Your team signs in and works with Kimola the same way as in the cloud version: you create a Report from your customer feedback and read its themes, sentiment, Dimensions, Signals and Action Plans.

What Differs From the Cloud Version

Kimola On-Premises doesn't include Feeds, so it doesn't collect mentions and customer feedback from outside sources on a schedule. The third-party data integrations, such as Zendesk, Intercom and Google Sheets, are not offered when you create a Report either, because they would connect the installation to outside services. To analyze your own customer feedback, export it from the system it lives in and upload it as a file.

Licensing

Kimola On-Premises is used under a license agreed between your organization and Kimola. To see your license details, click License in the left menu. The page shows License Type, License Status, Organization, Legal Name, Address, Start Date, End Date and Contacts.
