UpNote: A Versatile Note-Taking App for Efficient Organization

I was previously an avid user of Evernote; and have used OneNote in the past. This app has been FAR more stable and aesthetically pleasing, while meeting my needs for multiple notebooks and syncing across several computers. I hope this young endeavor continues to grow and expand!

**But also please don't add AI features, that really messed up another app and can compromise those of us that are using sensitive natured documents.

TRULY CROSS PLATFORM - This app has made my unusual Mac Samsung setup utteerly seamless after switching away from iPhone. I've been using Apple Notes to keep myself organized for the last 3 years - I enjoyed the ability to write with my ipad, and type on my mac, iphone. UpNote does all of this, and better. It's speedy, customizable, lightweight, and allows for organization via notebooks, pins, and featured notes. The GUI is reminiscent of Apple Notes, which I love for its simpliity, however this are many features packed below the surface. I was able to finally ditch my iphone thanks to UpNote - as a lifelong Mac user, I can't thank you enough for giving us a truly cross platform app.

...I installed UpNote and then after a brief period of testing things out I opened my wallet. I've long been a fan of this type of program. UpNote has every feature that I love but one, a true outliner such as Dynalist. Now notice that I gave UpNote five well deserved stars. I knew before I downloaded and installed this standout app that the authors did not include the outliner feature. I say all this to beg them to consider satisfying my hope that they will one day add the feature. ToDo list only go so far.

Upnote is awesome on all platform, and perfect for all the kinds of lightweight and heavier weight notetaking stuff. Use on Mac, phone/pad, and Windows.

I've tried a number of different notes apps from Evernote to Notion to Google Keep. UpNote gives me what I am looking for in its simplicity. It isn't trying to do many things and the organization of notes and notebooks is very intuitive. I always felt like I spent more time trying to learn how to use Notion than actually using it. Evernote is trying to do too much now in my opinion. I like that UpNote is focused on just notes and simple organization.

I'm a 15 year Evernote user, and I have been looking to find a great, simple, fast notetaking tool that doesn't break the bank. UpNote is exactly that.

Things I love:
* Easy linking between notes (and being able to see which *other* notes reference the one you're looking at)
* Expandable/contractable sections, plus being able to change the background color!
* Code syntax highlighting -- win win win
* Easy, set-it-and-forget-about-it backups
* Low cost
* Great support (I've already written in twice and received responses soon after)
* Fast, everything loads quickly and syncs quickly
* Pinning notes to the top of the notebooks list.

Overall, a very solid product. I have been using Evernote less and less. Only thing left for me is to convert the 10,000 notes I have saved already and get them into UpNote.

I enjoy using the simple layout with lots of options for organizing without feeling scattered like I have with other notes. Comfortable place to jot notes & ideas.

Clean interface. Bring and take notes across devices. I use it as a student and someone working in education.

And more value than Evernote.

Great layout and themes
Better organized and easier to use than OneNote, Zoho, Evernote, iCloud Notes and all other note apps I have tried.

Great application and interface that simple works in syncing between the Mac and IOS.

Migrating from Evernote, which has a few features I miss. However, Upnote is well-designed, syncs fast, and the price is right. I'd love it if a future version added a Home page or dashboard.

This is so well designed and thought out. It's exactly the platform and format I've been wishing for. It's been a long time since I found an app that just worked without me wanting for something more.

After searching all over the place for the best notes app for me. I came across UpNote. It's clean, it's well and well organized.

I like to use it to have a window for taking notes on the last fourth on my desktop. It just works. It really is a great value. I use it every single day.

There a couple minor things I wish it had, like the ability to change the shortcuts for things like the global search, and maybe a little more robust url scheme. I like to use Raycast, and it'd be nice to have an append to note, etc.

Totally worth the cost.

Finally here is the app that can organzied well the many flash of thoughts going through my mind. Had enjoyed using it very much and really appreciate it.

This app does everything I need it to do. It's a beautiful solution - and much better than old standbys, such as Evernote.

I've used a lot of both paid and free notebooks, but UpNote is the one I settled on. I like that it has a non-subscription option. It has just the right features that I need. It's stable and lightweight.
