Chose this hotel as it looked funky and was cheaper than hotels in Amsterdam. From Centraal Station itâs about 10 minutes on the Metro, which is 2 mins from the hotel. Itâs also on the direct train line from the airport to Amsterdam, which is then a 5 minute walk to the hotel. When itâs cold and rainy, it didnât seem such a good idea to be out of Amsterdam, to be honest. There is a market at De Pijp, which is one stop away on the metro. The breakfasts were great, plenty of choice and restocked all the time. A group of Americans even came to breakfast in PJâs and full makeup! If you donât use housekeeping, you are rewarded to a free drink in the bar. The rooms were clean and had all the amenities including a fridge, the beds were comfy too. Now the reality, there is NOTHING in the area, except the conference centre, so you will need to use the metro. Also, donât be fooled by the ârequested amenitiesâ, we ordered several things on the first night, 24 hours later we were notified that they were ready. When nothing arrived we messaged to see if we needed to collect them. We were told that they would be delivered to our room soon. Day 4 and they still hadnât turned up. Donât offer a service that you cannot provide.âŚ
This hotel is trying too hard Whilst it looks good there are still room for improvement Itâs very expensive to eat and drink here The rooms are small and either too hot or too cold The air conditioning is very noisy The walls are thin you can hear the guests in the adjoining rooms The pillows are awful really uncomfortable The beds are hard and uncomfortable There were missing lightbulbs in the room
Stayed at the Nhow for two nights from 13th October 2023. Check in was at 15:00 and was a little slow with a que of guests waiting to check in. Hotel is very quirky, modern & spotless, with friendly helpful staff. Went to room on 3rd floor which was faultless, then off to the 1st floor bar for a quick beer. We had breakfast included which was self service on the 17th floor, great selection and the freshly squeezed orange juice and waffle station were lovely. Had a few cocktails on the 24th floor with excellent views of the local area. When going out thereâs free sweets by the revolving doors which is a nice little touch! From reception to the local metro 52 is only a 3 to 4 minute walk, Then on the metro is only about 6 minutes and your at Centraal station. Would definitely stay here again!âŚ
What a great hotel this is! Very large, many rooms. Our room was very comfortable, clean, colorful and soundproof. Very comfortable king size bed. Fridge, coffee maker, beautiful wine glasses: itâs all there. The breakfast buffet is the best I ever had: many options, all fresh. Terraces to enjoy the view from the 17th floor: a great way to start the day. Rooftop (35th floor) terrace (small) for cocktails or predinner drinks (restaurant as well on top floor). Parking via P+R RAI (check conditions). Reception is very well organised and friendly. All hotel staff is very friendly. Checking out Sunday at noon: extremely efficient and well organised. I highly recommend this modern hotel.
nhow RAI without a doubt is an exceptionally beautiful, outstanding, and delectable hotel, without question. The check-in was smooth, welcoming, and even when we had a minor concern not having a twin room, which was resolved within seconds at the check-in desk and handled remarkably. The rooms at the hotel are very swish, modern, and wonderfully fantastic. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. TV had English channels which was great when we came back after a long day and could watch a movie in bed (also childrenâs channels, CBBC, BBC1, ITV, ITV2). Aircon was a delight as it did get quite toasty in Amsterdam. The hairdryer was fantastic. All the bathroom amenities provided were great, especially for those travelling with hand luggage only. Amazing hotel and the best Iâve stayed in within Europe. Itâs very relaxed yet elegant and the decor is just beautiful, you can tell theyâve thought of everything. Not only this but the whole hotel from the lobby to the rooms are spotless. Our room was on floor 5 and a corner room, and we both gasped when we entered due to the size - it was massive! We travelled with our dog so it was great for him to relax in. Beds were comfy and bathroom is stunning and very clean. We were made to feel very welcome with our dog and were provided with dog bowls and a dog bed which was a nice touch. Special mention to Nick from the guest relations team who assisted me prior to our stay with booking balloons and a cake for my grandmother upon arrival. These were hand delivered which was anâŚ
