The remote app requires a subscription for full access and has issues connecting to TVs. Some customers have found success with the app, but many are frustrated with the constant prompts to subscribe and lack of functionality without payment. Some have even labeled it a scam. Those who have lost their remote have found this app to be helpful, while others regret their purchase and wish they had just bought a new remote. Overall, opinions are mixed.TV Remote - Universal Control

I paid $30 for the life time. Says it pairs to my tv, none of the functions work.
You don’t have to pay to use the remote, but “full access” requires a subscription. The power button requires full access.
I bought lifetime deal and it doesn’t work anymore it only worked two weeks max what is going on
It wouldn’t let me do anything without a subscription
I bought the lifetime subscription and it does not work. It shows that it’s connected to my Tv but nothing happens. I’ve tried disconnecting and reconnecting. My tv is on the same wifi as my phone so that’s not the problem.
Skip searching for the right remote app , because I did it and I can say this has got to be the best one the ads ain’t all in your way popping up every second , it connects and works fast and easy set up.
Literally just freezes yet internet speed is high Drfrfdffff
I understand maybe an ad or two. But blocking basic function with premium is ridiculous. You might as well make it a paid app to download seeing as it’s unusable without premium.
This has to be the worst purchase I’ve made App wise. This thing never stays connected, rarely works upon start up, very delayed in reaction time. Did I mention NEVER WORK! So much of a headache. I regret buying the year membership
Perfect for my Samsung smart tv and very easy to use. Even duplicates the remote it came with
