The app continuously recommends female products to men. That is unacceptable and insulting.
I know y’all are this awful mega corporation that lots of people hate for lots of reasons but I just kinda wish you’d never touched the wish list UI
Amazon keep logging me out of my account and when I make a new. One that keep taking my password away (DELETE AMAZON)
What happened to my search history? !
Can’t get a return done because their app is glitching and saying error when trying to retrieve the return label and the 2 customer service reps basically told me tough luck, we can’t help you
Why change the my list the things we save obviously if we separated and created folders it was for a reason something thst was simple to access you made more steps if we want to see everything we saved in a list we wouldn’t of created folders dummy now we have scroll all way over to find what we lookin for makes no sense
The new list page is horrible. I don’t want to see what’s been saved across every list on my account, especially when my whole family shares the account. I want to be able to get to my list and my registry again with one click.
Get rid of “inspire” and stop messing with the main screen UI.
No option to get rid of some items saved in wish list (both purchased and not purchased.) Bring back the three-dot option.
Also, why in the heck is stuff I bought eons ago showing up in the list section?
Lists are not working properly anymore. It’s moronic to save everything to the default “favorite” list. Becomes impossible to find anything. Because of this I can not save to any of the wish lists I’ve made to keep everything organized.
It was no accident that the developers pot that INSPIRE icon right where everyone goes to check on their orders. I’ve already lost count of how many times my thumb has instinctively gone there, only for me to be infuriated moments later. Scrolling is very choppy (the autoplaying videos need to go, too), especially when viewing/editing wish lists. They REALLY need to fix the issue where I add any kind of electronic or tool to my cart it offers me an extended warranty plan. Tapping ‘No Thanks’ adds BOTH the 3-year AND 4-year coverage plan to the cart. This happens EVERY TIME. Seems almost intentional to me. The Marketplace has completely ruined finding quality products. Every search now requires you to sift through dozens of Chinese-made products to find what you’re looking for. Recommendations are effectively useless now. Every movie I buy now floods me with recommendations for PS4 and Nintendo Switch junk that I don’t want, and they keep coming back no matter how many times I select ‘Not Interested’. The last two exist on the actual site as well, but my browser has better controls of what data Amazon can take from me, so it looks like that’s how I’m going to have to do my purchasing....or just look elsewhere, I suppose.
They said that they have everything on this dolly dran website. Well guess what? THEY DONT. I looked up Taylor swift tickets and you will NOT believe what happened. It look to me to a bunch of cringy things that said “(Taylor’s version)” IF YOU BUY THAT, YOU AINT CUTE BAE.
With the recent upgrade, all my former saves from years of using amazon came back to my favourites list! And the worst thing is that i CANNOT remove them!
i have to go inside the product and find the exact size, color, and seller that i saved a long time ago which likely no longer exist. So now all these items are stuck on my list that i do not want see! And there’s no way to remove them in bulk, i have to go into each one by one.
Im canceling this account and creating a new one so i have a clean list, and ill never ever use the save button because now its forever.
Whoever came up with this upgrade truly has zero understanding of customer experience and probably never used amazon.
Disappointing and very frustrating!
Lately packages have been LATE ! What’s the point of having prime and choosing the over night or short delivery date , when suddenly the package is now LATE! And all we get is wait 2-3 more days then call back 🤦🏻♂️.. by this time it’s almost a week
Idk what’s going on with this app but I can even look at the review pics or videos without it freezing , can’t be my internet as I have fiber and I’m pulling well over 400 mbs
I do not want to give the China Nationals that Amazon hosts on their website, anymore of my business. Most of the resellers are China-owned and they are a threat to national security economically. I have stopped buying all of my supplements from Amazon as well. I have had enough.
Update: So pressing on the bookmark button brings up the option to save to various lists, but why on earth they added that separate to the heart is beyond me. Redundant/useless change. What does bother me is how lists are now presented - it’s a horrendous interface of horizontal scrolling lists and a vertical list of *everything* you’ve saved. The actual items in a list now take up a huge amount of space, so it takes forever to scroll through. Dear god, change it back. It’s unusable. //
Original review: I won’t get into Amazon as a business because that’s not relevant specific to the app and oh boy could I go off. With that said, the app is really just a limited website in a wrapper, which comes with its own problems. This latest update has changed the ability to long press the heart icon to save to a specific list; this no longer happens, and it’s frustrating. Searching is abysmal, and you’d think a company as much of a behemoth as Amazon would be able to implement something with better search parameters and, well, more accurate ones.
I’ve been using Amazon for a long time. I never had any problems until today. I did a large amount of items to purchase. I did had to do one refund on one item. Next thing you know my money never came back. I contact twice with costumer service and only use the Amazon gift card. It’s been 2 week and will contact again.
I used to like the app - it had most of the same searching ability as the desktop browser. With all the updates recently, it has to reload the page each time I want to add a filter even if it is a deeper level of the same type of filter. I also used to be able to use a search term and select ANY category I was interested in. Now a search term may only yield a few options to narrow a category. Example: I search for “stainless steel” and I can’t refine my search by the category of “arts, crafts and jewelry making”. If change the search term to “stainless steel charms”, I can refine my search by “arts, crafts and jewelry making”. The problem is that “charms” may not be the exact thing I am looking for and I want a more broad search but not so broad that I get entirely unrelated items.
Another big pet peeve of mine is kids shoe sizes. You used to be able to select the shoe size you were looking AND distinguish between little kid and big kid sizes. Now you can’t. But let tell you, there is a BIG difference between a size little kid 1 and big kid 1. Looking for shoes for my kids for big kid sizes 1 and 2 is beyond infuriating when size filters are meaningless
I am very unhappy with the newest app update. Previously I could easily change between shopping on Amazon US and Amazon.de This is an issue as I am stationed in Germany and have the ability to purchase from Amazon.de and ship directly to my door or shop Amazon.com and have items shipped to my APO mail box. Some items are available on only one and not the other. I pay for Prime membership on both as we often purchase from Amazon. Now with the new update my app seems to be stuck on Amazon.de and cannot find a clear way to switch between the two.
Amazon has begun to realize that us minions don’t really care anymore that our shipments are coming later and later. No same day, overnight deliveries are now two or three days.
You’re slipping, and the crappy Prime movies aren’t worth it much longer.
Wish Lists aren’t easily customizable anymore and I can’t change between countries when I make purchases. I can’t find any instructions or guide to change the country either. I don’t know why they got rid of these features. Sometimes it honestly feels like pointless changes are made just to say the app has been updated with little regard to the function or how it impacts its customers. Please change these back and stop taking features away needlessly.

Aunque se configura el idioma y la moneda, constantemente la modifica y hay que volver a configurar, muy cansón…
i still love this app, but i dont like how the influencer storefront is now seperate from the profile . and the fact that zero workers could help me figure out what was going on was a huuuge red flag . they need to be back combined, but i do enjoy not having to go all the way to profile to see my storefront . it took me a week to figure out where all my stuff went . if you change something huge, you should at least have a warning + instructions . get tour workers up to date on whats going on with the app . i talked to like 3 different people who had no clue what an influencer store front was . i finally figured out today on my own, wks later . do better . plus, while trying to get my profile to look how i want again, the background picture doesn’t even have a save button . just soo many glitches . ps. i dooo love the free prime for months . that should stay a thing .
I agree with others, a search for for toothpaste should not be jamed with golf clubs or tires. But I guess somewhere they listed to me mention I needed tires. Or that I was buying a toilet that would flush a dozen golf balls. But today I open the app to show my plumber the deal on a water filter and my LISTS are gone! WTH?
The app keeps freezing after the most recent update. This has never happened before.
