Jr. Product Manager

We are always ready to meet with a high performing Jr. Product Manager who will be given the authority to learn about our customers and assist them in finding solutions to their issues. The position will also play a role in determining the company's product direction and work with our development and insight teams. 

-Be aware that this is a general application document, but we're always ready to meet with talents who are passionate about research technologies, consumer insights and SaaS products.

Responsibilities

  • Experience and/or a strong interest in working in a start-up environment.
  • Must be comfortable sharing new concepts and presenting well-thought-out ideas in front of team members.
  • Participate in the planning and design of software application features.
  • Effectively using communication and task management tools like Zoom, Slack and GitHub.

Requirements

The role of a Product Manager in b2b, enterprise, or saas software typically requires at least 1 year of experience. While experience in consumer insight, market research, or social media management can be beneficial, it is not necessary. Key qualities for this role include the ability to form strong relationships with people from different parts of the organization, a desire to uncover customer needs and solve problems, collaborative problem-solving skills, the ability to work with customers and manage their expectations, a strategic mindset, and a passion for storytelling. It can also be helpful to have experience owning and prioritizing an agile backlog of product ideas and working with a team to deliver them.

  • A degree in Design related studies is a plus.
  • The role requires empathy and the ability to build rapport with others.
  • A focus on evidence and the ability to identify common underlying problems and champion their value is important.
  • The ability to prove through experimentation that the team's work has solved valuable customer problems and improved the product is important.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for crafting compelling narratives and clearly communicating key information.
  • Previous experience in agile product development, including defining and prioritizing product ideas and working with a team to deliver them, can be very helpful in this role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are essential for getting the most out of experts and other resources.
  • It is important to be able to work with customers and understand their perspectives, and to manage their expectations sensitively.
  • The role requires the ability to turn a long-term vision into a compelling short-term mission, and to rally teams behind that mission.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to craft a compelling narrative, are crucial for clearly and succinctly communicating key information to stakeholders.
  • Experience in agile product development, including managing an agile backlog of product ideas and working with a team to deliver them, can be very beneficial.

  • Worked for a SaaS product before.
  • Worked for a UX agency before.
  • Worked for a tech company before.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Interested in creating content aboutproduct management.
