OfferUp is a platform for buying and selling items, but recent updates caused frustration among its users. The new addition of intrusive advertisements, scams, and difficulties in posting items has made it hard for people to use the app. Some users were also charged without proper warning, while others could not access their conversations due to the numerous ads. While the app layout is cool, its inconsistency in removing scam sellers and incapability to remove unsold items automatically has left its users disappointed.

I was willing to tolerate it the obvious scams constantly popping up but you guys are on drugs if you think im going to put up with random pop up ads. Make your app better and youll gain users. DELIBERATELY MAKE IT WORSE AND PEOPLE WILL JUST USE FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE INSTEAD. Idiots.
I messaged like 10 plp for items and never havenāt gotten a response from any of them and then I tried on my friends and instantly got a response. I even paid for the premium and still didnāt work.
The developers messed up on this one⦠now that youāre forcing people to watch ads. Shouldāve kept it the way it was before peace out offer up market place on Facebook and Craigslist work better! Greedy!
I donāt get this app. I was able to sell only one item out of 40 posted. I havenāt been able to purchase anything because the sellers donāt respond.
Pro: It was simple to ship the one item I sold.
Cons: You canāt see the price of an item unless you click on it. Ads play between searches. Half of items shown are ads to third party sites (Temu is one I get redirected to often). The app doesnāt work with a VPN. Itās hard to get customers to see your product unless you pay to promote your items.
Refused to give my money back, misleading marketing, didnāt receive promised free trial. I tried signing up for the free 3-day trial and then I payed with Apple Pay and AFTER they got my card info, they said I had already used the 3 day trial and they charged my card $20 without my authorization!! They are refusing to refund my money even though I cancelled it right away and never got any benefits of the subscription, and i explained that all to them and they must have missed it. I have all the screenshots that show I was not warned beforehand and itās extremely misleading, thereās many others that have had the same issue.
I think it is ridiculous that I canāt access my conversations due to the multiple adds of āgoing premiumā
Way too many ads, Iām just trying to scroll and then BOOM an unavoidable, unwarranted 1 minute ad pops up. At least give me the option to watch 3 at once and then leave me alone for an hourā¦it really ruined the quality of the experience.
Been trying on and off with this app but for some reason my listings NEVER show up. I even check from a different phone and nothing yet it says itās listed. Emailed offer up with no response. Complete waste of time and extremely disappointing.
I just got an ad saying that my memory was low on my iPhone, which is freaking impossible because I have no apps open⦠That is predatory advertising and youāre gonna take advantage of people who donāt know technology you need to stop doing ads like that it aināt worth the money sell me a dishwasher not software
Iām trying to leave a review for a seller but I canāt scroll down to submit. Thatās a big problem right now Iām my iPhone.
Was working perfectly, now searching for another app with same features without the annoying ads. Why would I pay premium if Iām not buying daily??? Can barely view 2 items before an AD pops up and by then I just close it and go to the next app.
Too many scam sellers and it takes too long for them to be removed if reported. Offer Up letās them create new profiles anyway. The app/company needs to drastically improve their security before I feel safe buying from anyone who isnāt local.
I donāt like when they send me a text saying they found something that I might like. I will do my own shopping
It used to be a good app to sell and buy things, but with the influx of having to go through ads upon ads is stupid!
There is no way to mark an item as pending. You cannot browse albums to upload a photo so if a photos is from 6 months ago, I have to scroll through thousands of photos before I find the item. Give us the ability to browse albums.
Iām now bombarded with intrusive ads with normal use. New as of the last few weeks. I like the old app better.
Iāve been wanting to use this app to sell some items but I canāt even post anything. Once I hit post, it just gets removed. As many times as I try
Very cool layout
Too full of ads instead of people selling locally
Iāve been using offer up for some time now, and the recent addition of ads as you scroll through as well as exterior sites being able to post, really gets annoying. If you had dedicated ad bars, that would be one thing, but having a pop-up ad where I canāt get out of it is absolutely ridiculous. Iām not playing some game, Iām actually looking for particular items.
Esta app es una maravilla, te ayuda a obtener cosas de calidad š«¶š»
Ads cover the full window of your phone for a few seconds until the close option appears that is really small that it will still register that you clicked on the ad and will redirect you to a new screen. This should be illegal because itās the same tactics used for malware.
I've been using it for 6 years and it just keeps getting worse! The fancy new random pop-up ad's are a pain, and most of them cant be closed!! You have to kill the app to get rid of them!! I guess you can pay $8/mo to get rid of the ad's, but I pay $20/mo for promote plus and I have to put up with the ad's?!? No more selling on OfferUp for me, subscription cancelled!!
Iām always on here cleaning out my closet or my Dads house-so much to go this app works for me on sooo many levels-thanks offer up!
Hedge Trimmer from Cody
A+++
Itās a app for selling stuff, not entertainment. Skip the forced ads.
Such a great app.
Itās a great app I really like it. I have sold and purchased many items. But you should implement a feature where unsold items get unlisted automatically after a month, unless you reenlist it. Itās really annoying to search for something and an item from three years ago that never got marked as sold by the user never got removed. Other than that the app is really easy to navigate and posting is a breeze. I know its the userās fault to not marking as sold, BUT of they got removed automatically that would not be an issue.
Lots of bots and fakes
Put my truck for sale in 2 days gone good offers too

Lyft receives a mixed bag of reviews ranging from drivers being friendly and prompt to the app being glitchy and unsafe drivers. Some users have noted that Lyft is more expensive than Uber and that the wait time can be longer than expected. However, others praise the priority pickup feature and the helpfulness of Lyft during difficult situations. Overall, Lyft seems to have room for improvement but is still a viable option for transportation.

Klarna, a pay-later app, is losing popularity due to its new charging fees system, poor customer service, and declined transactions. The once-fee-free app now charges $2 for every installment, and a $7 fee for late payment. Additionally, the rewards program has changed, offering only premium retailers and a minimum $35 order requirement. The app has glitches, such as redirecting users to an app that doesn't work, charging twice for one payment plan, and declining purchases despite an account in good standing. Klarna may need to improve its service to keep up with competitors.

This mobile game has a lot of issues according to its players. Some experienced bad customer service, lost their progress, or encountered bugs. Others complained about the paywall, RNG, and lack of trading system. Despite some positive reviews, the game's longevity and fairness are questionable.
