Love this app helps tons
Would recommend to any and everyone
Iāve used Klarna a few times and the experience was fine until I had to make a return. I reported two returns, one the refund āhas been initiatedā for almost a month and I have yet to receive the funds. The second return has been āescalatedā multiple times and they claim they canāt refund me even though I have written proof from the vendor they issued a refund back to Klarna. They wonāt provide status updates, an anticipated timeline for my refund, a contact to connect with the vendor, NOTHING. Iāve been waiting on this refund for two months. Talking to customer service is like trying to have a conversation with the Teletubbies. I asked to talk to a supervisor as a last resort and was told they will reach out in six DAYS (if their customer service is that overwhelmed thatās a pretty big red flag.) Iāve now had to contest these Klarna charges with my bank in hopes to end this nightmare. To the potential ādeveloper responseā Iāll get, donāt bother. Klarna has lost my business and I wonāt be back, trust me. There are too many other competing applications that offer similar services with a better user experience.
I was able to purchase several items using Klarna a week ago on the Coach Outlet App. Today itās saying region unavailable.
I have not been able to see my purchase power in weeks. I get a message stating āPlease come back and try again laterā. I contacted customer service last week and was told by the rep to make a purchase less than $50 & it should reset itself within 24 hours. I made said purchase and needless to say, it still isnāt showing!!! Epic failā¦

I used Klarna to purchase Portola 23 tickets. I was told my purchase was successful and was charged the first portion of my payment plan, but never received confirmation. I then went to the Klarna app a bit later to contact CS and saw a notice that I was declined. Why was I told I was approved? I missed out on tier 1 pricing. This cost me $100 in increased ticket pricing. I will never use Klarna again
They are starting to charge $2 service fee if itās not āpartneredā with Klarna. And they took away the ability to create any plan on will.
It charged me twice one for the original payment plan and then for the renovated plan
They charge $2 for every order now. And itās just crazy, how their promise was broken within their own company āno feesā to actually charging you a āfeeā. Trash I used to use klarna alot. Now its the last.
Itās a great app and opportunity to buy and pay later.
My purchase power on this app states that I have over a certain amount I am able to spend without issue. Currently I only have one open transaction pending a last payment which makes my account to be in good standing. However, today I went to go make a purchase and was turned away due to Klarna declining during the point-of-sale, even though my purchase power said otherwise. This was very embarrassing to say the least. I spoke with Klarna, and they were not able to help or override their decision, which I do not understand, since my account is in good standing, and the purchase power on the application said I had plenty of purchase power to complete the transaction. This is misleading, and I am not happy. I will make my final payment on this application and never use it again.
Many mobile web options (such as customer service chat) are only available on the app. I have errors logging into the app with both my phone number and email which work fine on the web version. When I try to report this (or do almost anything else), Iām redirected to the app where I cannot log in. When I delete the app, Iām directed to redownload it. Itās a terrible user experience. Klarna should not be directing users to the app by default until the app is in better working order. I understand the business case, but it is wildly annoying!

I have used klarna for over a year now. I was ordering an iPad. They wanted to add $2 service fee. They say they donāt charge fees, but that has changed. I decided to use PayPal 4 pay. I wouldnāt recommend this app and wonāt be using it anymore. I will pay everything upfront or I will use paypal 4 pay.
This app keep trowing unnecessary and annoying notifications! When I set up my profile it was mandatory to state my gender, ok, but then I am a male and the app trows out a notification to say that āthere is a perfect bra for youā

Klarna used to be my favorite pay later app because it was fee free and you accumulated reward points. However theyāve recently changed everything and now they charge $2 for every installment plan you do plus a $7 fee if you pay late which they never did before. Also the rewards program you used to be able to get gift cards and now you can only get a $5 or $10 offer at select retailers (all of which are premium retailers nothing like Walmart or Amazon) and you have to pay with a Klarna plan to even use it. They also changed to a minimum $35 order when it used to be no minimum. All these changes make me not want to use them anymore. Itās definitely a money grab when they boasted no fees for so long. I recommend switching over to Afterpay if you want an installment plan with no interest and no fees!!
When I started with Klarna it was very good, I donāt know if I ever missed a payment or something for them to have reduced my credit limit and reject my purchases most times. Iāll dump Klarna very soon if they keep this up!
klarna is great. theyāre lenient but not too lenient. they help me acquire so many things and the payment plans are great. i just wish they didnāt use credit scores because my parents ruined mine so itās very low but i have never missed a payment or been late but my power never goes over 150. i feel i should be able to go 100s up since iāve had so many successful transactions and paid all of them no problem. but otherwise love this app

What happened? You folks were wonderful and my payment history perfect. I had up to 5k spending and paid off. Now declining purchases. You people messed up. Targeting cutting the wrong people off.
This app design forces users to pay more in interest. Youāll setup a payment plan but then you canāt make double or triple payments to avoid interest. Instead, they only offer to pay off the full amount or make the small installment. Means you have to pay interest on the full balance until you have saved up to pay the full amount. This will be the first and last time I ever use them. Affirm and other competitors have significantly better offerings and interest rates. Just wish that was an option at the specialized bike shop when I went to purchase.
Edit: Contacted support via chat and they are doing this on purpose. They offer no other way to make additional payments so the response to ācontact themā seems like an unhuman way to bury a clearly greedy product design.

I used to love this , but with all the changes donāt care for it and wonāt be using it . They charge u 2$ every time now and do a credit check ? No thanks !

I like how this app allows me options to be able to finance, larger purchases. Depending on what was selected for the method of payment on able to pay off and or pay down balances even before their due. I really appreciate the flexibility to be able to make larger purchases more financially, friendly over time.

App worked once 15 months ago. Has been broken ever since. Iāve never even seen purchase power on⦠it always read āsomething went wrongā error message. 15 perfect payments⦠meanwhile my Affirm has been incredible. Spending limit resets after youāve paid down or paid off previous balances. This app is in permanent glitch and you can find any support
The first purchase was ok. I was given an amount but then when I accepted it asked me to pay a higher deposit, which was about 50 percent of my purchase, so whatās the point then? The second purchase that I tried to do I wasnāt approved because āthey could not verify my identityā I gave them my name, last name and address, I guess thatās not enough for them.
I shop for what I need and not shop for what I need and donāt need⦠a $35 minimum purchase is like going to a hardware store and only needing a box of nails for a x amount of dollars and yet the cashier says to me sir these box of nails doesnāt meet our $35 minimum purchase guidelines and I have the right to refuse service to you, either you go pick up a few more items valued at $35 or more or I am going to have to ask you to leave the store.? THATāS HOW I FEEL NOW WHEN I SHOP WITH KLARNA. Theyāre all in my wallet like Capital one āWHATāS IN YOUR WALLETā.? Lol insane and I feel bullied. Klarna use to be where any purchase was allowed no matter how small and or cheap an item was. What ashame how our hands as consumers how weāve become comfortable with change that weāre forced to deal with and have to adjust to and eventually become comfortable with. KLARNA GO BACK TO THE OLD WAYS AND ACCEPT ALL MINIMUM PURCHASES.!? Itās now a $35 minimum purchase in order to shop with Klarna and next thing you know itāll be a $50! Minimum purchase guideline set against us consumers. Think Iāll search and shop other apps that wonāt put a minimum purchase cap on its customers until Klarna makes its decision to revert back to its old roots so to speak and Iāll then come back because Klarna is my first live when it come to my online shopping history. Iāll be back from time to time to check in and check up on to see if thereās any change.

Iāve had this app and used it for about 5 years now, itās crazy how throughout those years my purchase power has not gone up from $500 even though i pay off things on time, better yet, early. Worst part? It just went down to $200. Like what? Afterpay will be my top choice from now on, this app is a joke.
The new app update is not working when I go to certain stores through klarna. The old version was better
