This hotel in São Paulo has a great location near the Paulista area and offers comfortable beds. However, there are some downsides such as delays at check-in and a lack of extra amenities. The staff, particularly Eduardo, receive positive reviews for their helpfulness. The hotel also receives praise for its cleanliness and breakfast options. On the other hand, there are complaints about poor customer service, small bathrooms, and weak WiFi. Overall, the hotel is considered average but has some room for improvement.

If you plan to spend a night or two, then it's probably ok if it's close to your meeting venue and there's no other option. The reception staff were great and so was the location. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was ok. But the property is missing something extra to make me come back or even recommend it to a friend.
EDWARDO on front desk was 1st class he spoke great english and was so helpful in all my queries, the room was spotless clean , and breakfast, spot on i cannot fault the hotel , it was so close to tube train ,busses and great walking views
It is a hotel close to everything ... especially if you are traveling to visit clients over the via Paulista area ....how ever if you come late at night from an international flight You might experiment some delays at check-in....as the system could be down and you might have to wait for 1o r 2 hours without answer ... Rooms are comfortable ....breakfast it is ok ...but service is very limited at restaurant ...if you want to grab a dish to have your meal ...and you take a big size some one from the staff is going to remember you that you are wrong
Good things you can talk about this hotel are about its’ great location and the comfortable bed. Unfortunately, there are more bad things than good things. Upon arrival at the hotel around 10:30pm, we checked in, but were starving. The room service was already closed for the evening, and the front desk only provided us with one restaurant flyer. Being in a very busy area of Sao Paulo, we were surprised that they only had one flyer to give us. The food arrived at 1:30am. We could even get two plates and cutlery. Luckily the deliver guy had a plastic plate for us as well as plastic cutlery. One of the reasons, we choose this place was because of the breakfast as well as a shuttle bus to the airport; however, the hotel did not offer a breakfast nor do they have a shuttle. Upon arrival, the front desk clerk said to go to a bakery nearby because it was cheaper than their restaurant. We ended up having a lunch their during our 5 days stay. The food was good. One night, we asked the concierge for a wake up call. She wrote it down in the book. The next morning nobody called and when asked why it didn’t happen, we were told they took the book away. He did not offer any option to make us feel welcome and that they were sorry. While we waited for someone to arrive, we noticed the staff chatting amongst themselves loudly and they didn’t give off an impression that they were working. The wifi at the hotel sucks. Each floor had their own router, but our floor hardly ever worked, so we had to use one of the other floors connections. To top it off, we discovered that the curtains were covered in mold as well as the window frame, something that could easily be cleaned by the cleaning staff. I guess they were busy chitchatting. Next time we visit Sao Paulo, we don’t plan to stay there.…
Our flight from Lima landed at 5am and our next flight to Johannesburg was only departing at 6pm. We had no desire to sit in the airport, so prior to departure we booked 2 hotel rooms for the 4 of us and a day tour of Sao Paulo. Our tour guide and minivan collected us and drove us to this hotel. You will see from prior reviews that I do like a certain minimum standard. In my home country 4 stars is more than sufficient, and quite luxurious. Apparently in Brazil 4 stars is a school dormitory. We received out room keys and proceeded to our rooms. Upon entering the room and being greeted with acres and acres of white my comment to my business partner was something along the lines of "is this a school dorm room or a minimum security prison?" Not a carpet in sight, so you are greeted with very cold floors. 2 twin beds, on wheels. In the large bathroom were towels that have last seen fluff on them around about the time the Amazon rain-forest still had all her trees. Put it this way, if my travel agent had booked me into this room for any longer than it took us to shower, change and leave on our day tour, I would have been on the phone to her to have us moved to a better location. In the end it served its purpose. We showered in hot water, changed into clean clothes and went down for a pretty good breakfast. Would I stay there if I were visiting Sao Paulo again? Sadly, dear reader, the answer is no.…
We loved our stay in São Paulo dues to this hotel being fantastic. Only comments are that they need another elevator! Eduardo helped us out, very polite and friendly and outstanding service, he went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable! If you need to know where to go for anything talk to him! The room was fantastic! The suite was well worth our last minute change of hotel to capcana.
The good points from this hotel were the mattress (very comfortable), the breakfast which had a lot of choice and the deck which was a nice place to sit. The bad points were firstly that we had some issues with our check in. The room was accidentally booked as being a twin instead of a couples room, so when we arrived (at 9am due to an early flight) we asked if we could be moved. The gentleman at reception said this was not possible as they were fully booked, so we asked if the beds could be pushed together, which he said was possible. We then left to explore São Paulo and returned at 14.00 for check in, very tired. At this point it became obvious that he had not asked for this to be done, as we had to wait for over an hour for the beds to be put together. The receptionist was also extremely rude about the fact that we would have to wait, despite the fact that the hotel had had over 4 hours to complete this relatively easy task. While we were waiting a man with no reservation booked in, so apparently they did have rooms available. In addition, when we got to the room, the curtains were infested with mould and the impression of the room was that it was rarely used. The hotel itself is in a good location, but some work needs to be done on customer service. …
Really a good place to stay for couple of days (business trip, some rest), good atmosphere, really good staff at front desk, especially Eduardo, helped a lot (with money exchange, advises with transport, good and realiable peson, always ready to help), as it was my first stay in Brazil. Cafe is good, breakfast is free, calm place, but very close to Paulista av. - main road with all shops and restaurants. If wanna cook something by yourself - some grosseries in distance of 50 meters. Good wi fi. to make a long story short - not a big but a really like a family (business) hotel, where it is good to stay. Dmitry, Russian Federation.
I´m travelling at least once a month to Sao Paulo and the hotel I normally use was fully booked so my company made a reservation in this hotel. Here are my comments: 1. One elevator for 10 floors (my tip use the service elevator). 2. Poor beds. 3. Very poor internet speed and no choice to upgrade. 4. Just came back from the restaurant and you can´t charge the bill to the room and they don´t accept AMEX. Waiter said there is no relation between the hotel and the restaurant and when I asked him why I had breakfat in the same place he had no answer... 5. Old towels belonging to former hotel Ramada. There are much better choices in Sao Paulo, that´s for sure.
Hotel locate in good neighbors, very safety place, close subway line, lot of atractions, we can visit Liberdade neighbor, Mercado Municipal market, Pacaembu statium that soccer museum is locate. close hotel we have restaurants and other options for eat and drink.
The room was okay, nothing especial; however, the bathrooms were tiny, could not even move around and I'm a small person. The customer service was very poor. The front desk guy, (African Brazilian) very judgmental and did not help us with our luggage on the way out. He asked us to move the luggage ourselves before doing the check out. I had 5 luggage and two kids, and I had to be constantly with my kids because they do not speak Portuguese. Very poor customer service!!
hotel location is very good , 2 minutes from Metro /Tube , walking distance 10 minutes for Paulista Avenue , staff very co-operative , rooms are clean and well appointed , would like to stay again while next visit
The Capcana Hotel in Jardim Paulista section of São Paulo is located in an area convenient for many restaurants and bars. The breakfast is good and the wifi was good quality as well. The rooms are smart, which is to say that they are small with a comfortable bed, small desk and a nice bathroom. They aren't spartan accommodations like some other bargain chains that you see in Latin America, and the cost/value is excellent, particularly for Brazil these days. There is a restaurant associated with the hotel, however I only enjoyed the breakfast, I didn't have dinner there. The hotel is in a nice area with many restaurants close by, walkable with Shopping Paulista just a few minutes walk. I would definitely stay here the next visit to São Paulo.
I got a great prize for the stay. The place is really in a good location with a nice restaurant in the side. The staff is professional and gave me a upgrade so I love it. The room was huge and the bk was good.
stayed at the ramada for 5 days great location metro just round the corner plenty of restraunts and bars near breackfast excellent rooms clean and reception very helpfull if you arrive by bus from the airport get of at the international and walk down the hill hotel on your left
Stayed at the Ramada for 1 week. The hotel is reasonably priced. The breakfast is good and I enjoyed the reasonably priced dinner. Service is Ok. The room is not bad. The hotel location is jus a block from Paulista and 1 few minutes walk from Shopping Paulista with the subway even closer. In this day and age I cannot understand why they want full payment when one checks in and for this reason I am not going back.
Worst hotel experience ever, starting by the customer service offered by the front desk. I did not have internet connection during my whole stay, only for two hours and that was it. Rooms our outdated and dirty too, I posted 8 pictures showing all my complaints but tripadvisor decided to post only two. I was here the week of May 20-23.
Great location however, it is not good value for money, I don't recommend the hotel, cables from TV hanging on the wall , worse breakfast ever in Brazil, small lift I ever seen in my life. It's so expensive and you don't get any benefits from it.
I was arrived on 11 pm and the receptionist was not able to find my reservation, even if I handed the voucher. After 30 minutes I was just for one night, instead of two, in my small room, with a very small bathroom, ridicolous pillows and noise throughout the night. In the mornign they still were not able to find my reservation and I left after paying 20 reais for two cookies!!!!!!!!!!
The location is superb! Eduardo, the staff at the reception, is so professional, he turned my bad experience to a good one. Thank you Eduardo, you will always be remembered in my heart. Bad thing: wifi was weak, i couldn't find wifi in my room even I was told there is. I arrived at 11am, then I came back to check in at 1:55pm. During my check-in I was yelled and treated badly by the reception guy with the name of Leonardo Rodigue, if i remembered correctly, he basically treated me like a thief wanted me to pay even though I told him 3 times the booking is a non refundable one and I do not need to pay again during check in, he yelled at me wanting to show him an email that I paid, which I did and he still did not believe. He refused to check his record even though I told him…
The hotel is 1 block from the busy Paulista Ave and a Metro station. There is a mall about 10 minutes away with a big food court. The hotel has a good hot and cold breakfast with ample seating. The only thing I don't like is the WiFi- which requires log in every time and the signal was quite weak and sporadic. Sometimes in the middle of watching a youtube movie, the signal disappeared. If the hotel can improve the selection of breakfast ( I stayed there for 6 nights and each morning, I have the same breakfast !!! ) and improve the WiFi, this hotel would be a 4. star property.
I stayed here for a week, the rooms are small but comfortable, bathroom really small but enough for one's needs. Breakfast is really nice and plentyful. Prices of the food in the restaurant seem a bit high for me. Hotel is clean and one block from Paulista Av in a very commercial area.
Trip to sao Paulo was at the last minute , so not a lot of choice. However location was good for our needs Room I had was a suite, beds comfortable, shower etc all ok, free wifi but had to log on each time Reasonable choice for breakfast, staff helpful . If you need to be in this area this hotel is fine for a few nights, its not 5 star but then neither is the price
I was on a business trip so for the main purpose of my trip it was ok. A block away from my office. Good food but the restaurant is quite old. Great staff! Though they should speak English. At least the room service staff. I couldn't place and order because they didn't speak English nor Spanish. I was transferred to the Front Desk. Front Desk staff awesome. Since the very moment I arrived, Cauan, the Front Desk Supervisor was really attentive. Also Eduardo, whose service I can describe as outstanding. I wanted to buy some typical Brazilian candies and he took part of his break to go with me to the closest supermarket. Mariana, really nice lady! Anyway, great staff for a good hotel.
The place is well located, it is pretty close to the Brigadeiro's subway station. The restaurant and the corridors are quite old, they should receive more maintain. The internet, at least in the 4th floor, was very unstable. Although, the relation between quality and price is ok.
The space in the room is so good, but the corridor and public areas are dark and narrows. Despite the building is very old, the hotel was refurbished almost everything to provide confortable facilities. The hotel's team shows effort to provide excelent services to the guest, however the front-desk and the "concierge" services during the night and and in the early morning fails. The restaurant facilities are simple but the menu is good, the waiters and the cooking team always willing to do a good serve, many times with a smile. Thank you.
Stayed at this hotel just for one night it was good. The room was small but had the basic stuff, internet worked OK (a bit slow). The bathroom had a window that was open and was difficult to close, at night you could hear the noise of the street and have some air coming in through this window. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel is just a block away from Avenida Paulista and several good restaurants. Breakfast at the hotel was nice with a good variety of things. For a short stay for a reasonable price this hotel is fine.
A little bit disappointing in the end, good price and location Pros: - breakfast - location - Safety - price Cons: - internet - noise in the room Comment: This hotel could have been evaluated better if they take care of simple things. Wifi is really not useful, signal is very instable. I took a room in the 6th floor and at night I took hours to sleep, in fact I slept very bad as its very noisy. Maybe it was just my room and its position however those are basic things... Other than it, the price is worth comparing to american or canadian hotel. Very good breakfast
good price and location, breakfast ok, near to Av. Paulista. It was clean and confortable. Wifi signal is instable.Nice staff, room is clean. The room was spacious, with large beds and essential furniture.
The hotel has a good location - nearby are Avenida Paulista and metro station, so I think that the location is perfect for a tourist visiting Sao Paulo. Hotel was reasonably priced, I would even say, rather cheap for its category. It was fairly clean and comfortable. The room was spacious, with large beds and essential furniture. Spacious bathroom. There were also a safe, TV. Price included buffet breakfast. I liked a good selection of fruits and cookies. A small area at the entrance to the hotel and its restaurant is decorated with shrubbery. On the other side of street there is an inexpensive cafe. I stayed for 2 nights and on the whole I liked the hotel. However check-in left a negative impression. The room was not ready in time and we had to wait for a long time in the hotel…

The Istanbul Archaeological Museum is a remarkable museum with stunning collections, well-presented exhibits, and a beautiful garden. It is part of the Istanbul pass and features greco-roman collections, Alexander's sarcophagus, an exhibit about the excavation of Troy, and a coin collection. While some sections are closed for renovation, the major Archaeology museum is a sight to behold with must-see artifacts such as the Tabnit sarcophagi and sculptures from Aphrodisias. The museum is easily accessible near Topkapi Palace and offers a comprehensive introduction to the Classical heritage of Turkey.

Doyle bar is a popular and trendy hotel bar located at Dupont Circle in DC. Visitors praise the atmosphere and decor, with its mid-century modern style and cozy seating options. The bar stocks a wide range of Irish whiskey and offers creative cocktails and delicious snacks. The excellent service from professional and personable bartenders like Andre and Brian, as well as attentive waitstaff like Kierra, gets consistent praise. While some find the prices high, the location and quality make it a worthwhile choice for an evening out with friends or as a hotspot for professional meetings.
