    STAY AWAY!!!Extremely Disappointing Experience with Cigna Medical InsuranceRating: 0 out of 5I'm deeply disheartened to recall my recent experience with Cigna Medical Insurance, which was utterly dissatisfactory, especially during a critical situation – an emergency.I invested in a Platinum insurance policy, expecting top-tier service and coverage. However, to my dismay, securing any refunds for medical services has proved virtually impossible. Their lack of responsiveness and delayed action in pressing matters were, for lack of a better word, surprising and disappointing for a company of this stature.From my experience, their customer service has been significantly under par, having turned a deaf ear to my multiple inquiries and pleas for assistance.I write this review with a heavy heart and a depleting bank account. Honestly, I can't express my disappointment enough. I advise potential customers to think twice before trusting Cigna Medical Insurance with their health care needs. There is a dire need for Cigna to improve its service and live up to the trust customers place in them, especially in times of emergency. SHOCKING!!

  • Frustrating and unsatisfactory

    It is difficult, if not impossible, to expeditiously communicate with Cigna about delivery issues. When I call, I can expect to be on the phone for much longer than should be necessary. There are too many hoops to jump through, and the "live chat" link promised on one page of their site is a dead end as far as I can tell. If the "Contact Us" feature doesn't include a link to live chat or even an e-mail address, then there seems to be no alternative but to phone and spend precious time waiting---all just to communicate a simple message, i.e., "I didn't get the medication I ordered. Please send immediately." Why should I need to reserve an hour or so of my day to notify them of a delivery failure? As Cigna appears to care about its reputation and pays attention to these comments, this is the best place to contact them without hassle and frustration, it seems.

  • Denied MRI Even When Requested AFTER X-Ray Due To Trauma

    What is the point of having a doctor telling you (and requesting) an MRI for severe trauma when Cigna will deny it regardless, with no way to appeal the decision and then have then pass the buck to someone else. They cannot even have the decency to tell you on their website/app even though you receive an email stating there is an update. I had to find out just two days before my scheduled appointment. Useless insurance company, useless customer service staff and without the requested MRI, no specialist appointment to rectify the damaged joint.
