Should not shut people off the flight before it was supposed to.
This airline is broken throughout!!! If you looked at the history of my flights for the past 1-5 years you would get all the answers you are looking for!!!!
I find it a bit difficult to cancel a flight and try to rebook a flight. Also, I always buy a first class ticket. Using the overhead bins above my first class seat and smashing my purse and carryon is very bad business. People were using the First Class bins before filling up their own Coach bins. And the stewardess was letting them. I’ve had my purses, bags and a hat smashed by people who are not in first class but using our bins. It’s terrible

What a very nice experience!!! My first time flying with special assistance and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but WOW, I felt like a queen, such caring service and helpful personnel. Thank you so much for making my trip easy and safe, I really appreciate it.

I only tried to get this app to use AA’s inflight entertainment system. Tried to sign up and get an AA frequent flyer number 3 times but it didn’t work.
And seriously, when trying to enroll in the app, why in the world did some software developer think it was “cool” to have text show up on the right hand side of the text boxes and have it roll to the left? Bizarre design.

My flight arrived about 15 minutes early but I had about and hour and a half before I got my luggage.
1. My carry-on was checked and although it’s been accepted as a carry-on on other flights and I observed room for it in the overhead bins, and I observed bags as large or larger than mine in the overheads, , it was confiscated before I boarded and I had to retrieve it at the baggage claim.
2. For a $200 trip, you could at least pass out small bottles of water-even if they were room temperature.
Other than these items, it was good. Efficient app gave me my boarding pass on my phone, as well as my baggage location. Left on time, smooth trip, arrived early, and got my carry-on in one piece.

I have 2.5 mil miles on American and will switch. Over to another airline. Felt like flying on Spirit airlines which I haven’t been on in. 15 years.
Never get upgraded and prices keep going up. Even flight attendants say AA has gone down hill. I have two more trips in the next three weeks and will start flying other airlines after those trips.

Did not give me advantage number on setup. Had app email it to me and still login failed. Also on setup it did not ask for a username, but it still wants one. Completely useless!

Another disappointing experience with AA.
For some reason not known to us, they took us off of our ticketed flight, and put us on a flight for the next day. When we went to customer service they put us back on our original flight, no apologies and we lost our seat assignments…have to sit in middle seats….
Why????
Your service and space of the place could use some improvement. Each day your flights are less capable of dealing with demands, bags constantly being removed and checked in due to passengers carrying multiple items that are not controlled
App lets you checkin without confirming about bags.
You should not provide partial functionality only yo create mess.
The baggage always takes forever at CLT. How hard is it to hire more baggage handlers and get the baggage off the plane in a reasonable amount of time?
Should not have to wait an hour for my bag when we were right next to our gate.

Wasted 25 minutes of my life trying to add a checked bag on the app. There is no indication of how to do this. Now i have to wait in another line at the airport, Thanks AA!
I paid extra, per leg, for my window seats. Row 13 then row 14. I was disappointed, however, that I was group 7 of 9 to board. Why?!? I also thought complimentary drinks came with my upgrade, including alcohol. I wasn’t offered alcohol. Was I wrong?
