    The flight was comfortable to an extent. The air is bad and you will sweat. The option of airconditioning is not available. Further the blankets really smelled. They had a sour smell to them. This alone made me nauseous. They changed my blanket to another one that smelled less. The plane also stank. There was this really bad smell that kept coming and going. The smell was awful and it eventually gave me a headache. So I believe the hygiene is poor when it comes to Air Mauritius. I landed with a headache and nausea because of the above.   • Not providing seat paid for

    Do not book seats from this airline they will alot you a random seat on arrival at Heathrow- shocking and fraudulent. I prey we can get our money back. Many others on our flight had the same problem. Be warned!

  • Wouldn't fly with Air Mauritius again right now

    The positives: To and from Mauritius we arrived safely. The food was good and some staff smiled and came across friendly. Negatives: The seats are not the most comfortable, and when you're on a 12 hour flight this is important. The movies and series are dated, most we had already seen. The flight coming home was really hot, there was no air! Making it really uncomfortable and unable to relax. We had to ask three times to ask for the temperature to be reduced, the flight attended even said some other passengers had already asked. Some of the staff we didn't really find very friendly, barley a smile and felt an inconvenience, so customer service could do with some work. I will stress this wasn't all staff as stated under the positives. The toilet we used ran out of toilet roll both there and back. If someone was to ask would we fly with Air Mauritius again I'm afraid the answer would be no right now - That's not to say if the issues were resolved we wouldn't try again, but we have flown with another airline to Mauritius and found this one so much better. …

    • The worst airline we have travelled with

      Had sold the seats we had paid for to someone else without telling us, and gave us boarding passes forcwring seats on arrival at Heathrow, this practice is so dodgy and should not be allowed in the UK. Many other passengers had the same and similar problem's! Including 1 man who had paid £1600+ for businesses class for him and his wife to find they had cancelled his wife's journey altogether!       One of the better flights I've been on in a very long time. Overall I was blown away by the crew the flight and the aircraft. Great leg room as I'm tall. Didn't have any issues. Attendants were great and helped with my baby needs. Food was also not bad.
