  • It cost $2500 to fail the certification

    I spent $2500 on the courses to become a certified lash technician. The first course was amazing the instructor was amazing and I love it. The second course was awful! Do not waste your money on these courses!! In the second course the instructor started out correcting me on how I was placing my eye patches on my client. I was doing it with eyes open exactly like the first courses taught me she instructed me I was doing it wrong and go have the client close their eyes and for me up forcefully pull there lid open while placing the patch. I tried to explain that’s what was taught in the first course but she just dismissed it. Every time I ask a question after that she dismissed me and was either so vague that the explanation wasn’t beneficial or she completely dismissed me and move in to other students! We were given just a couple hours to practice techniques and the most of the second day we didn’t practice at all we spend hours going on the thousands of dollars of makeup we should purchase from her and extreme lashes. Right before our certification she gave us a mapping of how to place the eyelashes on our model that she did not explain and did not prepare us for. I have some disabilities so I got confused. I ask the instructor for help but she wouldn’t answer the questions I had. We were 45 minutes into the certification before she finally pulled me in a lobby room (this is an online live class) and told me that I looked like I was struggling when I told her I didn’t understand she gave me such vague references I didn’t know what she was talking about. I finally began to start lashing and she called out we had 15 minutes until break. She refused to let me work through break since I started so late. After break I kept asking her questions and if I was doing it right and all she would say is let me look, let me see, I’ll watch you … then never did answer me!! I ask her 5 times if I was doing it right without an answer. Then she stopped said we could not work any further yo put our tweezers down. By then I was in tears. I held in the lobby for 30 minutes for her to come on the screen and the first words out of her mouth were you failed your certification. She was in with two other instructors and she turned to them and kinda chuckled as she said it. So I hung up. I have called and text extreme lashes several times with no answers. They told me I could retake the certification but not the whole class I could just retake one day of it. So I spend $2500 and they won’t give me a certificate won’t give me a refund and I failed tgd certification. When they were trying to get me to take the classes they called me five times a day they were relentless. Now that’s there’s a problem I’ve heard nothing since they told me I could take one day if it again. Then if I didn’t pass it’s just too bad for me. Management was supposed to call me days ago and now I get nothing but voicemails. I put all my savings in these course and I’m left by one snc uncertified. This is just one big scam if you ask me. Please don’t give these people your money. Go somewhere else. Because if you don’t already know how to lash when you start the course you will fail and end up with no certificate no answers and all your money gone.

    Phenomenal lash products, great online experience and delivery is free and always fast! I have been a loyal client for at least 8 years and I refuse to purchase eyeliner from anywhere else. Thanks Jo and team!!

  • I absolutely love Xtreme products

    I absolutely love Xtreme products. I have been a loyal customer spending thousands of dollars to keep my spa supplied. So my only complaint would be that because I did not take my certification with this company, I can not receive the discounted rates on the retail supplies. I have been in the beauty industry for over 20 years and certified for lashes for over 10. Unfortunately I was unaware of Xtreme lash when I started doing lashes. However I will continue to be a loyal customer.
