For more than a year Iâve been unable to transfer more than $1,000 despite having my withdrawal limit set at much higher rates. Virgin tell me IT are âlooking at itâ and the only option theyâve provided is for me to call up, generally spending around an hour, to request a manual transfer. Then this manual transfer is not conducted then and there, but given to the âback room teamâ and I wait 1-3 business days to have this put into effect.
This should be a 30 second action with a working app - Virgin have not provided any solution and Iâm now closing all my accounts and thankfully going to leave this experience behind me.
Not the best banking app Iâve used. But does the job. Need to keep improving.
Always had great features but was a little slow. New update has definitely fixed that, runs fast now.
I thought by the way of how all other virgin services are, that this app matching the credit card would be exemplary too. Although once I found out virgin money is a product supported by NAB it all made sense.
This app is slow to update your funds in going and outgoing, so like many banks, itâs really hard to tell what your actual balance is.
But the worst part, is that the app has NO function to pay off balances due of your credit card. Such a simple function of paying it back off does not exist, you have to Bpay it from your bank account which takes many days - days to which you have an uncertain balance, whilst transactions are pending etc = confusion on you donât actually know how much youâve spent and how much is paid off at any point it time.
These features combined with credit card usage, are consumer behaviour manipulation at its finest.
I love the app and earning rewards for my everyday banking. I use the hotel booking feature which is great, prices are competitive with booking.com but I earn points booking through the app. The app has everything I need
