This was a waste for me. Does not blend well and tastes horrible. I was unable to finish the bag.
it’s by far is my favorite vegan shake. It doesn’t clump and very tasty without a nasty aftertaste.
After doing research for purchase of protein powder; I chose Ascent Plant Protein due to: clean ingredients, high protein (25gm), 0 Cholesterol and low sugar (1gm).
I use exclusively for protein shakes.
I know this protein powder isn’t designed for meal replacement, but…it actually is. I work at a warehouse offloading freight. I drink a 32 oz container with my favorite fruits and Oatmilk. It taste SOOOOO incredibly good and I have energy that last for my entire shift..2-3 hours…FULL ACTIVITY!!! Something spectacular I noticed was how I’m alert and my eyes/vision is positively affected. THAT vision aspect was very noticeable. I have issues with too much sugar intake. This product doesn’t leave me with a headache. When I’m going to busy for the day, this is my go-to item. My favorite flavor is chocolate peanut butter.
Smells good, powder feels fine. Then you blend it and realize it taste like dirt. However, I still love it and definitely needs fruits in the blend.
Ive been cycling through many different protein powders, trying to find THE ONE. The taste is… well, doable. I don’t really like shakes that thicken up like this one does, but some love it. To me, if the taste isn’t good enough to savor, I’d rather go without the thickness so that it goes down easier. A little extra water helps, so whatever. What really gripes me on this one though, is the cramps and bloating it brings. I realized it was bad enough by the second shake that I actually attempted for a return, but it turns out I have to go through the company and there’s no telling how that will turn out. But I’ll try it and report back. Most likely it’s just going to be a “me” problem, but it still sucks I dropped 40 smackerooskis on this big bag of bloat. Bummer.
