great for technique and breadth, not so much for "new" style or visuals
this is the third decoupage book I own, and I've read all three from cover to cover. The other two are the big mod modge project books, and though they are fun and instructive, they don't really show any sophisticated projects that self-respecting adults would be happy to use. This book definitely shows more adult and intense projects with more scope, and is worth reading for technique as well. However, I don't know that I would recommend this book for the project ideas or aesthetic, either. Al...

The only decoupage book you need!
This book is phenomenal! You need no other books about decoupage. In my experience, and i think many people will be able to relate to this, i started decoupage with mod podge, but eventually became frustrated with its limitations. I dont just want to make fun crafts, i want to make perfect objects. Quality enough to sell or keep as heirlooms. And i love Durwin's writing style and sense of humor. I want to have a mint julep with him!
