  • Ristorante extralusso senza smacchiatore?Durante il mio recente soggiorno a Marrakech alloggiando alla Medina in un Riad, ho voluto visitare questo famoso Hotel.Pertanto con i miei amici ci siamo accomodati a cena al ristorante Italiano per una pizza ed altri appetizer. A parte i prezzi esagerati e non giustificati dallo standard che e' pari ad altri posti meravigliosi che si possono trovare in questa bella citta' a prezzi decisamente diversi, sono rimasta sconcertata dal fatto che ad inizio cena, avendo bisogno di uno smacchiatore, ho chiesto alla signorina mostrandole la macchia d'olio sul mio pantantalone beige.Lei mi ha tranquillamente risposto che la lavanderia dell'hotel a quell'ora era chiusa.Aggiungerei che pero' il ristorante no e che mi sembra davvero il minimo sindacale tenere uno smacchiatore spray in un ristorante che ti propone una pizza margherita a 35 euro Trovo il tutto abbastanza ridicolo e fuori standard minimo.

  • We visited Mamounia for breakfast. It was simply incredible and the best breakfast we had in Morocco.The spread was generous but not overwhelming. The egg and salted beef tagine was delicious and I shamelessly had five of the thousand hole pancakes. So so good. Our waiter, Jawad, took excellent care of us and even us got us some amlou (an insane dip made from toasted almonds, argan oil and honey) for the pancakes when I had requested for it. Jawad had the biggest smile on his face throughout the whole meal and warmly welcomed us with his tea pouring.The gardens of the hotel are stunning and even got ourselves a delicious pistachio ice cream with strawberry sorbet which was perfect for the weather around noon.
