Bought this for my daughters residential which was 3 days sleeping in a caravan as part of a horse riding summer camp. She didn't freeze to death and managed to get some sleep, so it can't be all that bad.
Spend the extra few quid and greeting this sleeping bag. I used it in France in -4 and was sound
I got this for my friend going camping and it was lightweight to carry though not too waterproof and extra padding is needed for comfort and warmth.
The Active Era Premium Sleeping Bag appears to be well made but given its relatively low price, there are a number of drawbacks to the product.
It is light, compact and easy to pack into the compression bag. It is on the thin side, so it is OK for warm nights, but on chilly nights, it does not provide enough warmth. The fill material is 100% polyester and the overall feel is like plastic. You sweat a lot as there is not much breathability. It is water resistant but not waterproof. It is snug but does not provide much room to turn over. For those with long legs or arms, I would recommend a larger size sleeping bag. Pros of the bag are the double-sided zipper and the machine washability. The design also allows you to zip two sleeping bags together or unzip them completely and use them as a floor blanket.
Its an okay bag, but if you are looking for a bag for cold weather or breathability, or are a tall person, you need to look elsewhere.
It was ok for the summer nights. But one night in August it got a bit chilly and need a blanket.
But for a £30 or so sleeping bag it's ok. Very light and compacts down well.
This sleeping bag isn't amazing but it's fine for summer months and the occasional use. It is nice and comfy and lightweight but for proper hiking ect I would personally invest in a higher quality bag
