Mixed Opinions on Aucma Stand Mixer Performance

I bought this for my wife's birthday to replace her very old cheap Rotel food mixer.
Both my wife and my son have used it to make cakes and both have come to the the conclusion it is a very bad buy as it doesn't mix very well. It is too late for me to get a refund, so I have wasted £99

I've wanted a stand mixer for as long as I've been baking but couldn't afford the top end brand prices. This is a fantastic machine and I'm so pleased I treated myself. Its powerful and a lot easier to use than my hand held mixers, it makes baking so much quicker and I've found myself baking more than I used to. Its super easy to clean too. The only downside is the mixers don't go all the way to the bottom so there's usually about a cm of unmixed batter - however a quick scrape with a spatula solves the issue. I like the dust protector, the different mixers and the large capacity of the bowl. I would highly recommend.

If you're looking for a cheap stand mixer then this is it. I didn't want to invest in something expensive as I'm not a professional baker. I took a risk with this and I'm quite happy with it. I use it a couple of times a week to make dough for bread etc. It mixes the dough well and for the price does the job I need it to do.
It is a lot of plastic and sometimes when I turn the dial, the machine doesn't come on, which is strange, however I turn it back to the start and then it works. I'm not expecting it to last 5-10 years as I didn't pay the price for that but will be a bonus if it does. Also, I like it because it's lighter and smaller than the Kenwood I had. Overall, for me it's been a good buy.

I bought this going on the positive reviews , as my usual hand mixer broke so I thought I’d go for a stand mixer . Had to return it not for me . It wasn’t mixing all the ingredients properly it would just collect the ingredients from the middle not the sides so by the time the ingredients on the sides were mixed the mixture was over beaten . Tried it twice 2 cake flops from over beating. Never had any problems with cakes before when I’ve used a handheld device so back to this I go .

This is a lovely mixer, looks great in my kitchen, doesn't take up too much space and works like a dream. Efficient and quick, I have only used it for making a cake so far, but am very pleased with the results. It feels substantial, without being too heavy to move around, the cover stops any splashes or escaping flour. Very easy to clean afterwards. So pleased I decided on this. As mentioned in other reviews, there are YouTube reviews of this mixer, which helped me when making my decision.

The mixer does not have enough power to make whipping, mayonnaise etc. I don’t recommend if you make professional pastry or mayonnaise.
I am little disappointed.
