  • Very subjective

    I appreciate the yoga hippy style but this is just too much. Regression to the womb, completely baseless claims and cherry picking “facts.”

    “The four elements fire earth water and air.” These are states of matter and a endothermic reaction. The IFS science is solid I just feel this author forced “science” to justify it where it suited her.

  • Great read on how to bring the body fully into IFS

    This book is fabulous! I am an IFS therapist and author who years ago assisted with some trainings led by Susan McConnell, so I already knew that she was top-notch. This book reflects that in spades. It is very well written, so it is easy to follow with your emotions, not just your mind. It brings home how to integrate somatic work more fully into IFS (the body is already in IFS to some extent). I was really impressed with how she goes beyond just incorporating body awareness into IFS and does so much more. Highly recommended.
