Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in Miami is an impressive historical estate that is worth a visit. The 70-room villa and estate was built between 1914 and 1923 at a cost of $15 million by businessman James Deering. The Italianate mansion is spectacular with numerous displays, and the surrounding 50-acre gardens are stunning. The gardens were designed to incorporate nature, which is apparent as visitors stroll through the formal gardens and the informal gardens. A guided tour of the house is recommended, and the audio tour provides great descriptions of the extensive property.

Beautiful grounds. I am impressed with the original owner, how he adapted his dream gardens to the reality of the Florida climate. I found it interesting that he was very modern in technology, but very antique in his decor.
Was blown away by the lovely gardens and waterfront terrace with tea room and barge state. Can imagine spending many lovely hours here.
Definitely worthwhile to visit and tour. Allow 3 hours to see the place. Staff and guided tours are excellent. Price increase to $29 for adults. Free for military and Vets
We had such a wonderful time at Vizcaya! We were in Miami for a few hours before boarding a cruise ship and only had time to visit one place. We're so glad we chose Vizcaya! It was beautiful, interesting, and relaxing.
It is a very interesting 100 year old estate. You see both the mansion and the grounds. It was an easy Uber ride from Miami Beach.
While visiting Miami this is a must see place, look at all their architecture, Gardens and it is extremely well kept...
