This book is great! My daughter learned so much! From cooking to learning the Heimlich maneuver! This is a great book for kids who want to learn skills and start to take responsibility.

My daughter really likes this book, says she enjoys that it has activity/reflection pages. She is going to start middle school but has already experienced some changes in friendships and had to deal with difficult personalities in school mates. This book has given her some good information on how to handle those situations.

I bought this book for my son, and was pretty sure that he will put it on a bookshelf and forget about it. I was very surprised that he actually read the book and said it was interesting and useful. There’s a chapter on managing emotions that he liked. After reading the chapter on cooking he tried a few recipes and made breakfast for our family (overnight oat, French toast, eggs).

How can we connect with the author or publisher to get a copy of the workbook as promised in the purchase agreement.

I love this book. Each chapter takes maybe 10 minutes to read and get an idea about. I don't need this kid to know how to solve the world, but I need her to know that there are ways to approach every problem and this is giving her a good, common sense start to things we need to know to take care of ourselves. Everything from cooking, to problem solving, to being a good friend. We're using these lessons to get switch time :)
