  • Sneaky charges

    The service worked well enough and was easy to use but the sneaky charges are a big problem! I was not informed until I had already completed my taxes that there were aspects of my tax return that required I pay a fee. I thought taxslayer was better than Intuit in terms of being transparent about fees but it turns out tax slayer does the same sneaky stuff.

  • Good product if a bit overpriced

    I've used Tax Slayer for 3 years and feel it is a better product compared to similar products I've used in the past. The price is a bit steep, but unfortunately it costs to file your taxes unless you do them on paper yourself. I would give it five stars, but the price is a bit steep so it goes down to four stars. The assistance provided was adequate but not outstanding. Thanks.

    Had to manually enter all 1099-M stock trades into their platform, then they had to audaciously to charge me $42 when they advertised as "free." They advertised "standard" service at $37 this year.Let's hope the IRS free file systems come online nationwide soon.Thank you for your service veteran... now pay us until you die!

  • I was overcharged

    I was overcharged. The company said I was claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit, which I do not qualify for (and indicated so on my tax return). I reached out to support asking to downgrade my package, and they did not.
