    Excellent hotel staff, who were always courteous and helpful throughout our stay. Clean and tidy room. Very good buffet style breakfast and restaurant for evening meals. Good quality bikes available for rental along with an assortment of cycling route maps (provided at Reception Desk), allowing for a variety of options to explore Hoorn and the surrounding area on impeccable quality Dutch cycling paths.

  • Perfect weekend getaway

    Very comfortable and modern hotel with a very nice restaurant and wellness area. Ideal for kids as well. Swimming pool on the top floor with a very nice view over the city. Facilities around the hotel very well too. There is a cinema and casino in the same building.

  • Perfect night

    I arrived at the hotel exhausted by several business trips and was impressed by the secured access to the room, the high tech elevator, zero noises + total darkness in the room. I appreciated also the modern TV. Usually you have to push many times the TV remote control until finding the right channel with your language. Here it took second to reach my favourite channel with my language.

  • A nice hotel to spend a weekend (or more)

    Van der Valk is a hotel where you can spend your weekend, visit nearby sites, spend some time in the casino, experience its great restaurant, and many more. Located on the main road, needs a car for access. A small gym and pool, could gice you a way out when the weather is not friendly. The restaurant is a place to go.

    Aawesome, bathtub is very big, vcomfortable for two persons, the bed is comfy, the hotel ist easy to find and hoorn is a cute town . dDd I mention the bathtub already??? It is really something, never seen a big tub like that.

  • Good for business but the food needs to improve

    Good hotel not in the center of the Hoorn but easy to reach by car as it is close to the highway. The food is correct but can be improved. Menu has variety but the way of cooking and quality of ingredients could be better. Good breakfast. Good experience in general but the price could be more competitive.
