A good and easy read that my child enjoyed. It kept him engaged and he used some of the advice and is doing well with making friends! Life saver!
Kid thought it was funny. I thought it was a lot of good advice in a nice package. Well written.
It was a tough sell to read this to my 7 year old daughter. With some convincing we started reading this book and it's been great! She has laughed at the cartoons and it's sparked great conversation. I'm really glad I bought this on a whim when I found out there has been some issues at school with friends at recess, tattling, etc.
I have a 7YO whoâs brilliant but has always been behind when it comes to social skills. I asked him if he wanted to take a look at this book and he couldnât put it down. The comic style makes it interesting for him and a lot of the content really seems to resonate with him. Heâs already inspired to use some of the tools in this book to make new/better friendships. A must-have!
This should be required reading for all kids. Although itâs written in a way that seems to be aimed at elementary school kids (complete with cute cartoon pictures throughout the whole book), most of the information can also apply to teenagers and adults as well. I know many adults who could use the advice in this book! Anyway, great book. Buy it and read it with your kids of all ages.
My son is 9 and he's having a hard time making friends. We read this book before bed time and take it in small doses so we can talk about the examples given..etc. It has good examples that he can relate to.
