  • Stunning, coming across the plates for old typefaces like Garamont. Antwerp must be thought of as a centre of printing and this museum cements it. An unintrusive yet informative audio guide, cheap-ish entry, some of the clearest signposting I've seen from a museum. Temporary exhibition on how drawings become full-fledged art was also very charming, and makes a good companion to the KMSKA's own exhibition on turning heads.

  • Interesting museum. On closer inspection, Plantin was the Google of the 16th century.Recommended.
