The MSI Claw PC Gaming Handheld has garnered mixed reviews from users. While some praise its performance for games like Phantasy Star Online 2 and emulation, others criticize its overall capability, especially for more demanding titles. Issues reported include poor battery life, subpar built-in software, and inconsistent frame rates. Users noted the importance of updating drivers and BIOS for improved performance. The device is viewed as a solid option for casual gaming and streaming, particularly due to its Hall Effect sticks. However, comparisons to competitors like the ROG Ally and Steam Deck highlight shortcomings in performance and value for money. Overall, the device may appeal to specific users, but others may find better alternatives in the market.

It's basically an ASUS Rog Ally with Hall Effect joysticks and a working micro SD port and you don't have to deal with ASUS.
Performance is on par or better than the Ally with newest BIOS update.
Not good for COD as the right stick doesn't work.
I love gaming on this little thing. It's worked flawlessly since I got it and I honestly couldn't be any happier.
Let me start off by saying that I am not computer wiz nor do I have a lot of experience with PC gaming. A lot of people online say this device is kinda disappointing, but it works great for me. Then again, I'm not playing the most resent games with maxed out settings.
I've really only played Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, and al little bit of emulation. Phantasy Star runs great on high settings. My PSP and PS2 emulators are installed on a Micro SD card and they also run great.
This is a great device, and I love it. Sorry I'm not able to give it an in depth review discussing the specs and power.
I haven't been able to put this thing down for the past few days. Product works as advertised.
While the claw has some performance that is better than an Nintendo switch, it does not hold a candle to the steam deck, the rug Ally or the top of the pinnacle of PC handheld Lenovo Legion go . Note that regardless of the advertisement that is showed in this picture, it was not the best of CeS 2024 Nor did this device get any kind of award at all . To be frank this device has a terrible battery life a very old components, Compared to other third-party alternatives those from China still are better than this device. Wow, it does look great. The screen size is small compared to the Legion go the value for the money just isnât there for the price point if youâre looking for a bang for your buck, I would honestly choose the steam deck or the Legion. I would even go one step further to skipping the ally as it has a issue, melting microSD cards.
