  • Old ears and a dislike of giving private information over the phone

    I felt that the insurance person was very knowledgeable, but went through everything too quickly. I have a hard time doing things over the phone because I don't hear well. I feel uncomfortable giving personal information over the phone, so I would prefer in-person time with hard copies to look at and refer to.I don't understand why one plan would cover the entire amount of a procedure when another would only cover what Medicare allows - that doesn't make it easy for an old fart that has no idea what's ahead or what a given doctor may charge.

    The person I spoke with (Dakota at TZ) was informed, asked my needs going forward, since I retired & on Medicare. He gave me options to choose the the best plan for me at this time.Kerstan with Aetna had patience to review the plan with me.
