Stayed 3 nights at the V hotel Lavender. Location is hard to beat being right next to Lavender MRT. food wise, it is also next to McDonalds and Burger King. food court is also across the street, however most stalls don't open until 8:30am.room wise, it's clean but tight. Beds are nice however showers are small. Given the price we paid, it is decent and I have no complaints.lobby was small and can be crowded. Pool was well sized and kids loved it. overall service was good.
It was ok, but wear/tear if the building can be seen. We got 2 rooms, AC temp gauges weren't working properly. 1 room AC was super cold, while the other room's AC was too hot and toilet heater was too hot as well for that room.
I do not recommend staying at this hotel despite their good location.Summary of 3 major complains:- Bed bugs were found in 3 different rooms in 2 different storeys.- The hotel's uncorporative solution towards the refund request for only 1 of 2 nights stay.- The unfriendly - almost rude communication of 2 out 3 front desk staff. The hotel has refused to offer any compensation despite the unacceptable living conditions as we "fully utilized" the room. We had bed bug bites all over arms and legs after the 1st night. Immediately requested to change room. The fact that we attempted to move rooms twice within the hotel in 2 day demonstrates our good-faith effort to find a solution. However, encountering bed bugs in every room we have been in 2 different storey made the hotel entirely unsuitable for our stay or for any other guest. This forced us to relocate to another hotel at midnight, significantly disrupting our stay. What kind of hospitality it is?Yet they refuse to refund even 1/2 of night stayed for the reason "fully utilized" the stay. If we need luggage storage, I would rather leave it at the reception area or storage service. Not to mention the we have to disinfect every item in our luggage after our stay. Having bed bugs in a hotel room is a serious health and safety concern that falls far below any acceptable standard.Who would willing to put themselves in a bedbug room? When we first the reported the case, the staff didn't even apologize or show any empathy towards us.Noteworthy details: Bed Bugs, Bad Attitude, Unwelcoming
The hotel has a good location and good facilities. But the room is quite small and there is a smell in the toilet. And the room temperature is too cold even though I set it at 30 degrees.
We stayed here for 4 days for the Coldplay concert. The location is great because the train line is just a few steps away from the hotel. This is very convenient for going around. However, the room is not that good. For starters, the bathroom shower drainage had issues. The water doesnât drain quickly so we had to deal woth overflow from the shower area. There was also a weird smell even if it has just been cleaned. You can also hear the noise from the other rooms and the hallway. There was nothing exceptional abt the hotel. However, it would still be a great option if youâd be out the whole day and will literally just stay at the hotel to sleep.Walkability: A few steps away from Lavender Station
Handy to amenities, eateries and within walking distance of Marina Bay. Can get a little hectic with arriving tour groups, but mostly ok. Great view of the sunrise from city view room too.
