  • Central but busy location (obviously). Unfortunately, no upgrades or any offers/amenities not even for long-term/multiple stays, Marriott status and the hotel not being fully booked. Rooms are rather small, but very clean and modern. Breakfast is good.

  • Cleanliness - 6/10. There were stains on the lamp shade, chipped paint on the wall, the rug was shredded and torn (and no, it wasn't a hipster/bohemian thing). The shower was gross and the toilet area felt cramped.Food - 7/10. The presentation sucked. I ordered PBnJ for the kid, and I got myself some Flatbread sandwich. The PBJ looked like someone threw it at a truck then sat on it. The bread was freaking demolished. Honestly looked like someone got into it already and I got seconds. The Flatbread was SOGGY. More like flopbread. Even the guy who delivered it made a double take and looked at me like damn.. I gave it a 7/10 because that soggy mess actually tasted okay.Room- 6/10 the room was tiny and the open concept bathroom thing is not for me. Also there was no table in the room, just a really long and narrow shelf that we had to cram everything onto.Service - everyone was very nice and accommodating.Overall - there's no way on earth I'm staying here again. At least not for the price they charge. I've stayed at 4 star hotels 10 times nicer than this. The food was horrific and the room was not as clean as it could have been. I can't complain about valet/parking bc it is NYC after all. But I wasn't crazy about having to unload my luggage at the hotel, then get back in my car to drive 2 blocks away to park.

  • The rooms have a fatal design flaw with "open concept bathroom" with no separation from the living space or privacy. That alone makes the room feel sad and cheap, bringing back memories of soviet "communal" buildings with multiple families sharing a tiny bathroom and kitchen. The website and room descriptions do not mention this and have no adequate pictures to understand this. There are other more minor things - e.g. disorganized service (i got an invite for the Marriott elites cocktails or receptions that for the wrong dates, about a week prior to arrival), there are no breakfast benefits, one cannot expect help with luggage, and things like that. Overall, this is a very poor choice for the price.

  • I have traveled all over the world and the service I received in this hotel was exceptional! I cannot recommend this hotel enough. From the moment we pulled up, the doorman (JAY) who could not have been more helpful, check in was fast and easy and the staff again were exceptional from check in to check out, everything was perfect. We went to the club and the terrace restaurant, both with accommodating and superb staff. We were celebrating my husband's 60th Birthday and the staff were the icing on the cake. I cannot thank the entire staff enough....I will definitely go back and recommend to everyone. Oh and the room and views were more than we could have imagined. THANK YOU, MARRIOTT!!!!

  • We rented the Lobby Bar on the 10th floor for an event. Great location, service and food and drinks. Our guests were well looked after.
