  • Not worth the money

    DO NOT BUY ..
    Waste of money ..
I am going back to use Oral B brand as they clean better ,the brush itself is so soft ,it doesn’t feel like brushing your teeth at all, only strong vibrations that weaken my teeth ..
I feel like I have to visit my hygienist more often after using this expensive toothbrush.

  • 5 star before it get broken with a rattle sound

After a year, it started to sound like a tractor. Philips has an excellent program for replacing an item, so I did follow it.
Three weeks of waiting for a new handset due to clearance at a border—that was the first red light.
The replacement item came a bit better, but it started making the rattle sound again after a month. I prepared to do another return now - but honestly, again, three weeks of wait time - is unacceptable for such an expensive toothbrush - it sounds like a product defect or lack of a support line for a quick fix.

  • Disappointment with the vibrating head disconnecting from the main unit (handle)

We have purchased now 3 Philips electric toothbrushes in the last 18 months and all three have the same problem the metal toothbrush vibrating part breaks away from the handle holder main unit, this is a great disappointment with the same issue all the time, Philips has replaced two of the units, now we have to return yet another Sonicare Philips toothbrush for repair or replacement, they have a short life span ???

  • Best toothbrush yet

I’ve had a sonicare toothbrush for years and was ready for an upgrade. After a few weeks of using this brush my hygienist and dentist said my cleaning was exceptional and there was no need for scraping and my gums were perfect. The travel case on this model is slick on the outside and quick to charge with USb-C but a little thin with the strength of the plastic inside. App is a gimmick but outstanding cleaning for teeth and gums.

  • Failed after a year

I bought this PREMIUM toothbrush thinking that this will last. Not only did it fail (I've requested repair now), it's been giving non stop problems since day 1. The seals at the top of the toothbrush are crumbling away, the toothbrush settings seem to change themselves and the only way you can change them back is through the painful app. Full of bugs, and terrible build quality. Not built to last, at all.
Battery life is at best 1 week. No way can this be recommended. Certainly not Value for money and there are other less expensive toothbrushes that can clean just as well. Amazon's own toothbrush for a FRACTION of the price is just as good. 👎

  • Realistic review

This is a fabulous toothbrush, whilst it functions fully. I have had the brush 2 months. It cleans thoroughly, but after two months of use it no longer registers where I brush accurately. I am told I am not brushing an area where I know I am. I am then offered the chance to go back over the places I’ve missed and it doesn’t register again. I thought this might be down to a worn out brush, but I can confirm that it isn’t.

Also worth noting is the fact that the brush does not sync unless your phone is with you whilst you brush your teeth, with the app open. Syncing in this way helps the app know when to tell you to get a new brush head, so if you don’t use the app you don’t have this information. I have started to use a new brush head this week, noted how many brushes it estimates, worked out when I’ll need a new one based on using twice a day and have made a note in my diary when to change.

It is also worth noting that the excellent A3 head which is sold with this brush, may also be used on cheaper models. So it may be worth considering cheaper options with the better brush head?

I’ve just checked to see if I can return my brush and the option given, as far as I can see, is to send in for repair only.
