Mixed Reviews: Ninja Double Stack XL Air Fryer

We have never had an air fryer before. So we took the plunge and decided to buy this double stack one, more so because of limited space in our kitchen. It’s a total game changer for us. It’s the bonus of not needing to use our electric fan oven ever again. We have used it a few times now, it’s cooked a whole chicken perfectly!
It cooks great and evenly, and is not noisy as some reviews claim. It’s easy to clean, and plenty big enough, and performs exceptionally.
We are so glad that we decided to buy this air fryer, it’s fab!

This air fryer is really good however, it’s small inside than it looks also the bottom try cooks slower and not at the same temperature as the top. But apart from that, works well.

This makes the same level of noise as the previous versions of this... Love the way you can cook different things all at once.. it does cook slightly unevenly.. ie the front of this tends to crisp faster . However if you turn your meat around as well as over then it does what it says on the tin.. Some people have said it doesn't cook evenly.. I haven't had this issue as of yet... Works brilliantly for me and the fact you can cook meat and veg at the same time.. in the same air fryer pan.. I think it's fantastic and well worth the money... But some people will prefer the usual double air fryer... But if you are a little short on space. Then this is a game changer..

There wasn’t menus for the single and two person recipes and one had to work all settings by reducing the four portion settings every time one cooked each veg. and this was an impossibility at each meal. - Rang Ninja but they didn’t do menus for two persons

It cooks unevenly. Unlike other fryers, the hot doesn't come from above but from the back of the unit. So what is at the front cooks well, but that nearer the back, where the hot air comes from, hardly cooks. Videos on line alerted me, one showing sausages being cooked, 3 in the stack and 3 in a conventional fryer. In the stack, the front on was spot on with temperature, the middle one, just safe to eat, and the back one nearly 5 degrees below safe temp. Such a shame as it does take up as much space as a dual. Ninja have slipped up this time

Always wanted a Ninja probably due to all the hype around them but always settled for a lesser make. Finally got the double stacked Ninja and I have never been so unimpressed. Took ages to cook anything even when turning up the heat higher than I would a conventional oven. Totally pointless as it should be a lesser heat for less time. My other air fryer is so much better and I don’t pay nearly as much for it. Send this air fryer back in the end
