Critical Feedback on Netflix: Household Policy, App Functionality, Content Selection

Netflix faces criticism for its household policy, app functionality, and content selection from users. Complaints range from difficulty in watching due to location verification, lack of specific episodes or features like picture-in-picture, and the app's user interface issues. Users express frustration over poor service quality, bugs, and glitches, suggesting alternatives like Hulu or Peacock. While some appreciate the platform's content variety and download feature, others highlight inappropriate content recommendations and lack of updates for favorite shows.

Canā€™t watch because Iā€™m not apart of the household?????? šŸ˜” Iā€™m part of the family Iā€™m just in a different location. Stupid. I should be able to watch without getting a verification every 2 weeks. This is ridiculous. Going back to YouTube !

  • Hate Netflix

What is happening with Netflix? I am paying for it to crash repeatedly. I canā€™t get more than 10 mins into a show or movie without it freezing or completely crashing. Paying more than any service I have and canā€™t even watch it. And NO - itā€™s not my internet. I donā€™t have any issues with Hulu, Prime or Slingā€¦just crappy Netflix. So over it. Thinking of saving my $20 a month and canceling. You think you are bigger than you are while providing the worse service possible.

  • Is PIP Gone?

Did Netflix take away the picture-in-picture capability from the ad-supported tier? I can no longer view the app in the corner of the screen. I donā€™t understand, PIP is built into iOS.
