  • One of the most beautiful buildings in singapore. It’s where history meets the modern. The National Gallery hosts an array of contemporary artists, all from singapore. It was lovely to see Indian origin artists like Simryn Gill and Kumari Nahappan to be part of their collective. The ticket process is easy and it’s very very well organised.

  • Free for Singaporeans, this place has some history, and exhibitions which rotate over time. The architecture is also beautifully modernised colonial and a great day to walk around for half a day. Just remember to bring bottled water because drinks there are expensive and few.
