My Mum has an aged care package level 4 which is the highest. She was approved for that at the beginning of the year. I was told meals would be organised while I was away for Mum and dad but they left my Mum and Dad without dinners this weekend because they didnt procees the request. I messaged the coordinator the first night (friday) no response. When i called to find out what was going on Saturday morning the coordinator for my Mum was on call that weekend she was phoned twice by her office and she didnt answer or call me or my parents back the entire weekend. When meals on wheels called me Monday morning the application had only just been put in monday and was for the wrong dates anyway. I can count on my fingers how many times a cleaner has actually attended despite there being a cleaner scheduled weekly. They constantly do not attend.We had a cleaner attend who did not know how to use a spin mop instead of asking she flooded and damaged the floating floors throughout the entire house. This was almost 4 weeks ago no one has come to look at the floors not even southern cross staff.I have repeatedly asked for invoices to check against services for 6 months and they have not sent them.Mum was approved from a level 2 to a level 4 package it took around 6 weeks and a narky email from me to get them to start talking about adding services but they increased her monthly charges immediately. The level of services still have not been increased.This is just off the top of my head. I have escalated repeatedly to try and work this out unfortunately you get a flurry of help when you do that lasts a week then your back to the drawing board.I do not recommend their home services at all.
