When you awaken your heart to love the Earth to love yourself to love your partner, your children, your loved ones. This is definitely the book that will help open your mind to love.
60 years later and this book should still be required reading.
Here words paved the way to eliminate the use of ddt. We need more digestible works like this to address the chemical toxins and micro plastics of today.
You can get a little bit of relevant information out of this book, but a lot is said about chemicals that are no longer legal. Super important book historically, but there are better books about the environment in it's modern context.
It's understandable why this book started the environmental revolution. She explained everything in terms that anyone can understand. They are so explicit you may have to read more than once, but everything she wrote has held up over time. She was a straight shooter I a world of government officials who were blubbering by sacrificing life for the chemical industry. The loss of needed productive insects, animals and many humans was ridiculous. They knew better, they didn't care.
The only way to explain this is you have to read this for yourself. A lot of eye opening and interesting theory, research and facts behind it!
Good book and arrived in good condition
