  • Expensive and over due refit

    Was possibly lovely in the 90s when it was built, but it’s old tired and out of date, rude reception staff, only 3 glasses in bar, could piss harder than shower, no tea or coffee in room, everything is old and tatty, good breakfast spread but no help worth getting breakfast, all hot food was cold, anyone who says this is a good hotel must work here, world be perfect for 25 euros a night

    Don't come here in the summer as the air conditioning doesn't work. Rooms are absolutely roasting. Car park charges are not motorcycle friendly most are free. Reasonable location but dodgy area. Be careful...

  • In need of a makeover!

    Staff at hotel were lovely and very helpful but the hotel is in need of an internal makeover. It's a bit dated and shabby. However we found the hotel very clean. breakfast was nice and the location was excellent as train station just across from hotel

    The Rotterdam shower had a non slip floor, the one in Charleroi did not and it felt slippery - did not feel too safe when entering or leaving. Breakfast fine, reception fine but with only one person manning reception and the bar simultaneously it dsid not seem very efficient.

  • Great City Centre Hotel

    Great Hotel on the River, very close to everything, it looks was exceptionally hot during my stay, 45C+ and the air conditioner in the room was fantastic. Excellent staff, the young lady at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and very friendly.

  • One night stay

    Location is very good, near the train station but too much noise in the hallway (sound insolation issue). The superior room is simple, nothing special but the quality of the mattress is good. Overall, the price per night (100 €) is too expensive for the quality. At least the breakfast should be included.
