Mixed Reviews: Trtl Travel Pillow Comfort & Quality Analysis

Seems like good quality. The materials are nice to the touch. I purchased the cool version. Comes with a travel bag and seems well made.

This soft, portable travel/neck support did not meet my expectations for the price. I purchased a similar support that had much more padding than this item at 1/3 the cost. It was loose, no matter how tight I made it and just couldn't offer enough support during a flight.

I’m traveling. I don’t want to carry a big fluffy neck pillow, only to use on the plane. Trtl is the best compromise on comfort and size.

I decided to return this item just five minutes after opening it, so take my review for what it’s worth (if anything). I was sold on how comfortable this looked in the photos, and the smaller size of this travel pillow. However, I did not consider how uncomfortable it would be to have something wrapped around my neck. The more you lean your head toward the “cushion” (which is just plastic covered in fabric), the tighter the wrap pulls on the opposite side of your neck.

I bought this pillow not really expecting much, despite the good reviews, but figured what the heck, might as well give it a try. I used it on a two-hour flight, as a test run for a much longer flight I’ll be taking later this year. Let me tell
you, this product delivered! I slipped it on right before take-off, and fell immediately into a deep and satisfying sleep. I’ve NEVER in my life slept that well on a flight. Before I tried it, I thought the price was too steep, but now I’d pay double, because good sleep while traveling is that valuable. I’m glad I took the plunge and bought this expensive little item. It really, really works! I’ll never dread flying again.

I purchased my first trtl about 4 years ago for a long haul flight and have used it every flight since then. I have never been able to sleep on flights with traditional travel pillows, my neck would just keep bobbing and waking me up. I just purchased a second trtl because my husband keeps stealing mine. They're very easy to pack and take up less space than a traditional travel pillow. Sleep is extremely important to me, especially while traveling, so this comes on every trip with me if there's a long or overnight flight involved.
