Sometimes it works most of the time it doesnât update location. Itâs clunky and too slow.
The app works perfectly about 75% of the time but the other 25% will give you a headache. 15% of that can be best described as when it does not send the command to the car and errors out but still counts towards the maximum startup of 2 times. The other 10% is starting the engine and once you get to your car it wonât unlock for any reason until either the time laps resulting in the app disconnecting OR if you go back into the app and select to turn off vehicle (which you still have to wait for the command to send to the car if it doesnât error out).
Iâve had this issue on going since I got the car and had them check the key system and more they said it wasnât the car so it had to be an app glitch and would be fixed soonâŚ
That was over 6 months ago. I would just like an app to function properly for the features Iâm paying for.
App is just terrible! If I could give no stars, I would do it.
You pay for a service, the reasonable expectation is that it works, right?! For the quality of this app, it should be free. Making proof of âyou get what you pay forâ. You would think with paying for the service they could at least hire new software engineers and developers to get this app up to par with the Acura name. The remote start function doesnât always work. The geo services disappear on you all the time. Trip history disappears all the time. The miles and fuel levels donât update accordingly after refueling. Almost completely useless, but still costs money to use these services. Do better Acura, invest in your app. What a disappointment!
This is a TERRIBLE APP it works when it wants too and itâs NOT WORTH IT. I donât recommend it do not spend your money on this app. I would give it ZERO starts if I could
Remote start is awful. Half the time Iâm locked out of my car until I shut it off my engine through the app. Thereâs nothing like remote starting my car so it is warmed up, to then stand outside of it In the cold outdoors for a few minutes until the car shuts off so I can unlock my doors. A poorly executed feature.
Acura Link needs a lot of improvement.
Itâs too slow and sometimes doesnât work.
