OVER CHARGED MY CREDIT CARDI CALLED AND I WROTE AND THEY REFUSE TO REFUND THE MONEY THEY STOLE FROM A RETIRED PERSON WARN EVERYONE THAT THIS IS A FRAUD COMPANY AND STEALS SPENT HOURS ON THE PHONE TO BE TOLD NOTHING COULD BE DONE...NOT EVEN A CREDIT FOR FUTURE USE....IF THEY DO THIS TO EVERY USER THEY MAKE A FORTUNE...ON A 1 DOLLAR RENTAL THEY CHARGED ME 5 DOLLARS.... 400 PERCENT MORE
ERROR PLAYING MESSAGE POPPPING UP JUST WHEN 2ND COMMERCIAL ENDS AND MOVIES SUPPOSED TO START. SEEMS TO DO THIS MOSTLY ON THE FREE TO WATCH WITH ADS. I HAVE A SAMSUNG GALAXY A21 ANDROID 13 AND SAMSUNG GALAXY S9 ANDROID 10 AS WELL AS ONN TABLET AND SAMSUNG GALAXY A12?? FIX THIS ISSUE AND I WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO CHANGE MY RATING TO 5 STARS. THANKS
It took a day and a half to meet with a doctor. The doctor refused to prescribe medication telling me "I need to go in person" when I explained I have an appt in a month and that is the soonest I can get. This is a scam service. You never meet anyone in person and not sure if you truly meeting with a doctor or not.
Quality of film selections are very limited. Very few foreign films available.
I guess now that they do not have so many customers. they are just stealing from people. I rented 2 movies and returned both next day. They charged me $38, I called and they told me they didn't have my disc and does it. No investigation. No checking inventory; they just stole the money from me. I have been a customer for more than 10 years. So BE CAREFUL THEY WILL STIL YOUR MONEY!!!
Very bad with unknown charges. Initially thought it was a good service until I found an unexpected charge besides lies from customer services on extra day charges on my account. Don’t give promotional offers if u cant keep up with them. Lies and Dishonesty is their business practice.
I rented 3 movies at once but 2 didnt work one kept skipping & the other just wouldnt go pass the subtitle screen the one that worked I watch it and I kept trying to contact redbox to see what to do about the other 2 that didnt & to no avail after about 6 days I just decided to return them all and then I see a $97.00 charge on my credit card like wth! And Finally spoke to someone and they offered me $10 discount HORRIBLE SERVICE JUST A RIP OFF.will never rent a redbox again!!
3 times now Redbox has offered me a dollar off next rental when returning a movie. But after saying “use now” and going through all the steps to check out it says “promo expired”. You then have to go through all the steps to check out again. So, my time is wasted, I was lied to about a bogus promo code, and I still have to pay full price. Three times this has happened. Just stop offering a discount if your not willing to honor it. Stop wasting my time.
Red box is sure to be the Blockbuster example of corporate failure for this generation. Promo codes don’t work. Promos don’t populate online or streaming accounts. No chat function for customer service. Tv app isn’t clear with which movies honor which promotions until you go through the hassle of entering information. Sell your stock now.

I Downloaded The App to My Tele so that I can watch Flickers. I don't mind The Advertisements, I have gotten used to them and The Flickers are Unedited but what I DO mind are that I GET Advertisements in spanish. This IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I AM an American of mexican Decent but I do NOT Accept or Prefer Advertisements in spanish. We Live in America NOT that other country. Get it Fixed.
The app, streaming and the Kiosks are totally not worth the change spent. Bad customer service, disks don't work, no refunds, streaming is slow and pauses constantly with ultimate internet speeds. Unprofessional and bad service!
My son is autistic and loves the movie that I rented him from the Redbox. He'll watch it over and over every night. I did not bother to return it until he is through with his viewing of it. It would seem foolish to rent it day in and day out. So looking on my card receipts it shows I've been billed over $37 for the movie because it was not returned over a month. I have the movie still and I told the customer service I would return it. Would I get my money back to me. She stated I would only get the feedback of $10 which is downright unpractical. So me returning your movie to you so you can gain more profit off another person with that same movie while you still have my $27 for that movie. This is why the New age media, Netflix, Hulu and all those others are going to win over this stupid Redbox anymore.
I received a promo code email for $1.25 for streaming or box rental. It showed two specific movies. I went to my Redbox on-line account to use the promo code for "Kingsman" (one of the two movies in the promo mailing) and received the message that the promo code was not valid for that choice. Bait and switch? Poor trick for the likes of Redbox!

We bought a Redbox plus for a year and we never used it because we didn’t understand how to use it. I called them to get a refund or to get it extended and they just refused to do it. Awful customer service
I was thinking Redbox was OK. I understand when you watch a free movie you have to put up with ads. The problem I have is their ads are terrible, political and racist. Won't be using Redbox again anytime soon.
Terrible streaming on a gigabyte connection. This is my second movie to do this and now the last.
Overall I'm satisfied with Redbox. I signed up for their loyalty program and get regular discounts that let me rent movies very cheap and often free. I just have one problem with them. They send you discount codes to use at checkout when you rent at the box, but it's way too easy to miss the place where you're supposed to enter the code, and suddenly you find you've completed the transaction and didn't get the discount. It's happened to me at least two or three times. It doesn't help any that it seems like every time I rent a movie, they've added another splash screen trying to up-sell you a Blu-ray version or get you to rent a second movie or whatever. You find yourself skipping past those screens over and over, and wherever they have the place to enter your discount code, it's apparently a footnote that's much easier to overlook than their efforts to get you to spend more money. On top of that, when it happened to me yesterday I called their customer service, and after going through a phone tree asking numerous questions that have nothing to do with the reason I called, I finally just gave up and started hitting "0" repeatedly until it shut up and put me through to a person. Finally, after about 10 minutes I got to talk to someone who told me they can't do anything about it now until after I return the video, then I can call back and ask them to apply the discount. I really don't see why it should matter, just deduct the discount amount from my charges now and add on any extra days if I don't return it in one day. So now I get to waste another frustrating 10+ minutes on the phone just for a $1.25 discount. They could do much better in that department
Like many reviews trying to stream a movie with ads from Redbox sucks. This is my 3rd or so movie that keeps buffering...twice it had restarted my movie tonight. So I am half way through the movie and I have to keep fast forwarding and watch ads again! Guess what just to stop again and restart! So frustrating. No other app has this problem. Redbox needs to fix this issue.
Would love RedBox if they increase the number of movies with Spanish Audio or subtitles, reason why we switched from Netflix to RedBox, but we are finding less titles now with Spanish Audio or Subtitles at RedBox. Just a suggestion for Metro Areas with mostly Spanish residents like South Florida.
I was watching a television show on my free streaming service with Redbox. All of a sudden I received a message stating something happened and a number for customer service. I spoke to a woman overseas who asked me my name and my email address. At this point, I was a little concerned that she wasn't starting to address the problem, but that she wanted my personal information instead. Then she asked me for my card number and I said "what card?" and she hung up. Hmm, I guess my first concern was true. Was it a legitimate call, a legitimate company? I am sorry I gave her my personal information now.
Anytime I rented from them the movies never play all the way through. When u factor in taxes and fees it's not worth It. They never want to issue a refund and even to use promo code you need to spend money. I won't be using again. Save yourself the hassle.
Do NOT expect to speak to any actual living human whatsoever if you contact "customer service" if you even want to call it that. There is no option whatsoever to be connected to an associate or a human of any sort. You will only get an extremely unhelpful automated system which will run you in circles until you're more upset than when you called. Dont bother wasting your time
Too many commercials and they don't even coincide with my area. Frustrating to attempt to watch a movie and see ads every few minutes.

My experience with the kiosk rentals is definitely a 5 star rating. I have clear receipts in my email stating when I rented and when it's due, that it is turned back in, and how much was charged.My issue....the streaming. Like many, I am having issues with sound. I even tried the chat help but they say they cannot help. It appeared that through the app on my TV that the TV shows seemed to all have adequate sound when flipping through today until I get to the channel/show I usually watch, divorce court. The sound was normal for the ads/commercials but the actual show I could barely hear at full sound with help of a sound bar.For the customer service issue, through the app or website there is no request for help with the free tv. and this seems to be an issue for others with the movie streams as well, so the issue clearly is throughout their streaming altogether. It needs to be fixed as well as more options to select when seeking customer service help.I will be happy to adjust my review once these 2 issues are remedied.
Redbox on demand is horiable!!!! I have a brand new Samsung crystal clear TV… I rented the latest Fast and Furious!!! Pic quality on 4K has not good but even worse the digital sound kept going from low to high but mostly low so had to adjust and turn up volume every 10-15 minutes!! I’m sure that my neighbors appreciated that!!!! Thanks Redbox but you suck!!!!
I guess certain people can play that spin to win, because after I watched the movie clip I was supposed to "spin to win dial" . Redbox told me I already did. Uh ..no I didn't. So it's Rigged. And if that doesn't get you, there is phishing pop up that will stop you from playing. you can't get to the spinner. really disappointed in you Redbox . I spend money on your movie service. Then you going to treat me like that....😝😜😛
Don't ever try to watch online on your laptop. Had to install silk browser. Only worked for 5 minutes. Tried my tablet and my TV and gave up trying to get it to work. The sign in process is unbearable. I used to like Redbox but now I hate it.

Worst ever. They are thieves. Rented 3 movies on 10/16 and returned on 10/19. Just to get 2 different transaction holds on 2 different amounts placed on my account by redbox to cover a $17.49 charge which that's what the receipt showed we would owe. Now they have tried to blame my financial institution on the hold when it's their doing. They are nothing but thieves and liers.
SCAM ALERT!!!!!!! Redbox is unable to protect you while logged into your account. While adding a new method of payment I was phished by a site called Tundum.co.(After research they are flagged as a SCAM) Now again... not searching the web but logged into my personal account with Redbox. Contacted Customer Service Supervisor, even screen shot photos via Customer Service Chat. A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME!!!!! Their answer was "We are not affiliated with them, contact them". Your Personal Info and Credit Card Info "IS NOT SAFE" with Redbox!!!!!!!!
Worst free experience I have ever had. Way to many commericals that interrupted the flow of the movie. App continuously crashed.
I mean I don't even want to give one Star but I guess I have to, to leave a review. We returned a movie and it won't play because someone doesn't know how to watch their damn kids and let them ruin it. But when we called to get a new movie costume service was no help at all and would not out the money back on are card. You guys suck!!!
I purchased two DVD’s that were on sale but since I was unable to pick them up the same day I don’t get my movies. Called customer service and was told I’m S.O.L. How can they call that customer service. Think I’ll Sign up for Netflix
40 mile round trip to return a 2 buck rental because the 1 AND only shat box in my town was down. Called and informed I couldn't make the trip over a 2 buck rental when gas would cost me 10 bucks at least. Still charged my account 4 bucks late fee, offered a promo code. Stick your promo codes and your shat service n movies. NOT ANOTHER PENNY YOU FRIGGEN GREED MONGERS!!!
Redbox customer service dept. and kiosks are the worst! They sure did manage to charge me and my movies were not available when I got there. Then called and no refund. Thanks you POS losers!!!
